Connor= Boy Slayer?

Why do some people sometiems classify Connor as a male slayer? They say that they can't really classify him as anything else except something similar to a boy version of a slayer. I know the only male slayer we know of who existed was

Harth wasn't a male Slayer... although, I don't know what he was exactly instead. He only had the dreams, so I think he was just an anomaly. I don't think people really classify Connor as a male Slayer, but rather compare him to Slayers, because his powers and abilities are approximatly in the same range.
 
I wouldnt think of him as a slayer. i just think he has powers cos he was born from two vampires. in fact that would make him pretty much the opposite of a slayer. if slayers cant have slayer children (see robin wood) then i find it highly doubtful that vampires can
 
Yeah, of course, there's no logical reason for him to be a Slayer. Although since it happens at random, if Robin were a girl there'd be a small chance she would in fact a Slayer, but it wouldn't be automatic. If Connor were a girl, I guess there'd be a small chance that she'd be a Slayer too, but not any more or less than any other girl in the world.
 
i dont know, id think there would be less of a chance of conner being a slayer. but the way that show works, id probably be wrong 😀 they'd probably make her one for the drama 🙂
 
Whilst technically i don't think you can classify Connor as a slayer when you think about it there is very little difference in what he became. Ultimately he is human but contains some sort of essence of a demon which increases his strength, speed, stamina and fighting ability. Short of the prophetic dreams that pretty much sums up a slayer.

It would make for an interesting storyline if Joss was to ever continue Connor's story if it was discovered that he was indeed somehow connected to the slayer line, even if not actually a slayer.
 
But it would see most likely that Conors 'Slayer line' would be genetic, like his child would be the next and so on, just because his power was not created he just had it when he was born!
 
Makes you realise just how much untapped potential Connor actually has. Given a good supporting cast i think there is a strong possibility that Connor could have held his own show.

That's really interesting I mean Both the other shows revolved around characters with a huge mythology, which could be easily made for a Connor show!
 
About the Connor's "lineage": I don't think it would continue, because with every generation the blood'd be mixed with new blood, meaning they'd slowly but surely grow weaker.

But he might definitely have been able to hold his own show... if done correctly.... They still could... right?!?

Absolutely! Assuming that they could get Vincent to sign on with the idea anyway.
I think if we look at Connor as a "lifed owed" to Angel from the trials. And that a wayward PTB (Jasmine) used her powers to use that life owed for herself to create her father (thru Darla) then wouldn't it be more logical for Connor to have a lineage to the PTB's? I like the "idea" of Connor possibly being a male slayer but if Joss were to do a show on Connor I think a link of sorts to the PTB's would be interesting. Even if he kept the whining aspect in the series, lol.
 
I might have misunderstood but when she went on her rant and what Skip said she was a PTB.
 
i dont think so. just a demon. a powerful one though. i could be wrong however. i just never saw it that way.
 
I went to the City of Angel and looked up Jasmine and she is described as a disgruntled PTB. You can find her description under Characters, season 4.
 
In show 17 of season 4, Inside Out, Skipper lays out the whole story. I also found that at City of Angel.
 
yeah but skip was a liar. still yu may be right. havent seen it in a while. i just thought i'd remember that.
 
Try going to the City of Angel website and read up on the characters and episode summaries. It will help jog your memory.
