BTVS has always been really good as far as maintaining continuity, even with the little touches (like Oz noticing Amy's mother's eyes moving with him in the cheerleading trophy case [S2])...Just thought this was cool...In "Selfless", Anya's song "His Mrs.", takes place the same evening as Buffy in the graveyard singing "Going Through The Motions" from OMWF. The way to tell? When Anya opens the door outside just before she starts her song, you hear the faint sound of a man, sadly singing that he just got mustard on his favorite shirt--the same man who proclaimed that they got the mustard out of it in OMWF. Did anybody else notice? Am I stupid for thinking that was a nice touch? I honestly think that touch made the episode for me.

"Believe me, I don't want to go...and it'll grieve me cause I love you so....but we both know..."

I noticed that 🙂 And I don't think you're stupid. And darn I forgot to check back because I think Anya's hair is different, though...

i always notice little things like that. such as spike wearing that suit from 'restless' in 'tabula rasa'.

They must have used a wig for Anya since he hair is short and brown now. I could tell it was a wig. I loved how she went through the doors and was all of a sudden in her wedding dress. very musical-ish.

I love it when they make those little connections. It makes you feel special!! ::dance::

maybe a little too blonde

Not only too blonde but also too long...I think.
Maybe they couldn't get a wig that exactly matched Anya's hair in OMWF. I liked the musical bit....heck the whole episode was great. If only they's explained more about the rabbits cause I really don't get it.

well.. the flashback was set earlier in the day, so before she went to magic shop, where she first appeared in the musical, she changed her hair. 😎

or maybe because emma caufield keeps changing her hair all the time, it's hard for them to keep track.

Another Anya discrepancy...She's the weight she is in "Selfless", but the next day (OMWF), she's not anorexic looking anymore! 😛
Ok, I know...cheap shot. But "Him" made me realize exactly how skeletal she looks now. At least in OMWF, it was a healthy-looking skinny.

vengeance demons can change their appearances

nice catch about the hair, it could hint at Anya being a vengeance demons , before "Hell's bell".::eyes:: We never did find out exactly when D'Hoffryn made her a vengeance demons again.

But she became a Vengeance Demon again, because Xander left her at the altar, so if that's true, she became a Vengeance Demon after "Hell's Bells"

QUOTE]she became a Vengeance Demon again, because Xander left her at the altar, so if that's true, she became a Vengeance Demon after "Hell's Bells"[/QUOTE]

Maybe, maybe not ::eyes::. we all "Assume " that Anya became a Vengeance Demon again, because Xander left her at the altar, But they never showed it on screen. they only show D'Hoffryn talking to her about how powerful she used to be. ME can easily flip the script, and change the time frame, (I personally think there are two Anyas, re watch Entropy)

-How many times did you see Anya Vd amulet.

- she talk about feeling helpless in "Bargaining " (which hinted at her thinking about being a Vd again.

-In "older and far away" She grab for Halfrek
Vd amulet, when she thought she was dead. (she was thinking about it)

-In season 3 the "wish" Giles undid Anya's Vengeance by smashing the amulet. Why didn't they do that this time?

Note: all the scoobies died in the "wish" but was restore back to normal after Giles broke it.

-Halfrek was able to take back Dawn wish, in older and far away.

- when Anya was let go from being a Vd in "selfless", where was her amulet? Did she give it back? no! there were no mention of an Vd amulet.

-Anya told Halfrek that she didn't remember......What?!
She was cut off by willow before she could finish.

So, what we have are only fragment of the story. that is what I was trying to get at. she might have or might have not been a vengeance demon before hell's bell" the fact that we only no fragments , means we are in for a surprise. the hair change could be a clue to something bigger.

::eyes::In "Entropy" we are treated with a scene of Xander at "HIS" apartment.

Scene:

Xander picks up a remote control and pushes a button. The music stops. He looks around in the silence. Gets up.

He walks over to a chair, picks up a jacket and puts it on as he leaves the apartment. (going to "THEIR" apartement) Cut to the front of the building. Xander exits, goes down the walkway toward the street.

Pan over to some bushes. We see Anya standing behind them, watching him go.

::huh:: we see Anya watching Xander leave . He goes home to their Apartment and who do he find waiting there? Anya! Cut to Xander's apartment, night. Xander enters from the hallway, closes the door behind him, turns around, sees something and stops.

Reveal Anya sitting at the table. She stands up quickly.

::eyes:: There are more scene like that. In the same episode Anya's hair goes from short and curly to straight and long one scene after another. Watch "Entropy" again. also note how many people are wearing "RED" and when.

So far we have seen "two Buffy" in "selfless" , and I believe their are two Spikes (remember what Doc said in "forever") and maybe two Anya.::dk:: ::eyes:: :😛?::

Anya was allready a vengeance demon, so she could have teleported, right?

If it was called for Anya to teleport, it would have been mention in the script. She also would not have had a reason to change her clothes.😱 But everything change, her hair, clothes etc.
