BTVS has always been really good as far as maintaining continuity, even with the little touches (like Oz noticing Amy's mother's eyes moving with him in the cheerleading trophy case [S2])...Just thought this was cool...In "Selfless", Anya's song "His Mrs.", takes place the same evening as Buffy in the graveyard singing "Going Through The Motions" from OMWF. The way to tell? When Anya opens the door outside just before she starts her song, you hear the faint sound of a man, sadly singing that he just got mustard on his favorite shirt--the same man who proclaimed that they got the mustard out of it in OMWF. Did anybody else notice? Am I stupid for thinking that was a nice touch? I honestly think that touch made the episode for me.
