Cookie Dough & Others: A BB Cooking Book

An evil chocolate cake to have a party in your (Hell)mouth: a must-slay!

A friend of mine knows how much I LOVE chocolate and gave me a recipe to make a delicious chocolate cake in 3 minutes!
It's always nice to roll yourself into your covers, confortably put on your pillow, eating chocolate and watching Buffy!

Sooooo, here's is the easiest recipe ever!

You'll need:

  • 2 (or three) tablespoons of chocolate (Nutella or something alike)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of (baking) bloom
  • 1 egg
  • 1 microwave
  • And, if you really, really like to eat "bad things", a big spoon of peanutbutter! *Evil*

Then, take a mug (or anything you can put in a microwave without it explodes), put all the ingredient in it, mix it, put it 1minute 30 (or 2 minutes) in the microwave and, wait a bit so you won't burn your tongue and then...EAT! :X3:

I HAD to share that recipe! :biggrin3:

Nice! Did you know there BB has it's very own Cooking Recipe thread in this forum! :D This woudl be a great addition to it. :)
LOVE this thread! 😀 I love to cook, and more important, I love to eat! 🙂 I made a snack-thread regarding chosen for about a week ago, where some of us where discussing how cool it would be with drinks named after Btvs/Ats. Marisa came up with some really great names, although I don't remember them now. 🙂 Maybe someone could contribute to the ingredience part of it? I'm talking non alcoholic drinks in first hand here, sense a lot of people are under 18 here, or what ever the drinking age is in your country. 🙂

I love cooking ^^
Tend to ignore recipes and make it up as I go along too
Baking is awesome, but the prep can sometimes be time consuming, so I don't do it all that often
Love making my own pasta dishes and curries though
Not a fan of ready meals and jar sauces...

I love to cook. I have so much fun making new things, I am always trying new recipes 🙂 One of my favorite cooking blogs is smitten kitchen If has neat photos and really good recipes to try.

I love cooking, looking at recipes then changing them to make something like it, but that I will eat - I'm really fussy, so I tend to have to change/leave out ingredients

I loathe cooking, grocery shopping, grocery lists, all that crap. 🙂 I do LOVE to bake though, and like trying new recipes. I wish I had more time!

I do cook most days, though I get bored with it because my husband is insanely picky. I swear I make the same three meals over and over and over.

Something delicious, easy, and Slovenian:

Boil some small shell noodles; drain
Saute bread crumbs (fresh are best, but bought are fine, too!) with butter until golden
Mix the two together, and top with ketchup or pork n' beans, depending on your mood, taste, or food persuasion

I'm in need of some inspiration does anyone have any veggie recipes to share?

I'm not really a lover of cooking 😱 It just seems boring to me, standing for ages, getting all hot and bothered, timing everything to end together 🙄 If I do cook, it has to be from a recipe book, I have to have all the ingredients out and do what it says word for word!! lol 😛 Or it usually goes wrong lol 😱 Saying that I don't mind baking 🙄 lol most probably because I have a sweet tooth and I love the house to be filled wth the smell of baking goodies mmmm..... 😛 I usually bake Vegan goodies as I'm vegetarian, so it's always fun, as there's different ingredients and the look on peoples faces when they bite into this gorgeous goodie and I tell them it's low fat and dairy free! lol 😀 They can't believe it and often wonder what's in it lol 😀

Mmmmmmm...... fooooooooood! I love this thread. I think I have to start an favourite food thread again. 😀

A really yummy starter dish (nice to have before a nice thai meal for example):

- 1 chopped and pealed mango
- 2 handfuls fresh spinach
- Fresh shrimps
- shallots
- A little lime juice
- salt, pepper

Enjoy! It's really good and feels light and fresh!

I adore both to cook and bake. I bake for money, as supplementary income, and mostly for fun. I also cook a lot. I make a good chili con carne stew (and a wonderful chili non carne stew!) My most famous things are probably my pfannkuchen and my pork. The first is a secret never to be shared.

The second is just a pork loin marinated in a reduction of
pint orange juice
pint cranberry juice
2 cloves minced garlic
a bit of thyme (I use two or three sprigs, generally)
and a splash (or three) of of balsamic vinegar

Score the fatty side before you start to marinate and you can roast it (covered until the last five minutes or so) just like you might any other loin of pork that size. It's really easy (if you over-reduce the marinade, just add a bit of water) and delicious and moist. The reduction will boil over if the heat is high, though, because of the orange juice.

Guinness Christmas Cake

Kean family recipe 🙂

Ingredients:

1 Bottle of Guinness
1 pound of self raising flour
5-6 Eggs
1/2 pound of butter
1/2 bag of brown sugar
1/2 bag of sultanas
1/2 bag of seedless raisins
1/2 bag of mixed fruit
1/2 tsp of mixed spice
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
tip of tsp of bread soda mixed with a drop of milk

Optional Extras:

Cherries
Almonds

Tools:

Grease proof paper
Brown paper
Twine

Method:

Preheat fan oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

Melt butter, Guinness, brown sugar, sultanas, raisins, mixed fruit, mixed spice, cinnamon, and bread soda in a big pot on a high heat.

When butter is melted leave mixture to stand, off the heat, for 15 minutes (or overnight).

Mix your eggs together with a fork and add to the mixture (make sure mixture is cool or eggs will scramble).

Fold in flour.

Double line tin with grease proof paper (bottoms and sides -cut out two sheets for the top too).

Wrap outside of tin in brown paper and tie with twine.

Pour mixture into tin and place the final two circular cut out sheets of grease proof paper on top, not on the mixture but on the grease proof paper sides.

Cook in fan oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 90 minutes. Check after one hour.

Leave for a day or two before eating. It's really nice with some butter 🙂

Ah my favourite! although we usually throw in a dash of Hennessy.
Has anybody actually cooked any of this stuff (besides the posters, obviously)? Because I gotta say, a lot of this sounds pretty damned excellent.

I've got some tasty recipes of my own, that is, if nobody has any objections to Latino (specifically Puerto Rican) cuisine. 😛

I love cooking, it's probably my favorite hobby. I can do lots of Mexican dishes like tacos, fajitas, chicken & beef enchiladas & Mexican manicotti. I also like doing lots of Asian dishes like vegetable or beef lo mein, sesame chicken, coconut shrimp & homemade egg rolls. I'm from the south so I've been cooking since I was little so of course I know pretty much all of the popular southern dishes plus I love to grill. I always do steaks or fish with lots of grilled or steamed veggies. Now I'm hungry lol

Tried this last night and it was amazing! I did 3 tbsp of Nutella, no sugar, and 2 tbsp of peanut butter (everything else was the same amounts). The only hard part is waiting for it to cool! 😛
