Tueuse de Vampires
Love will tear us apart..
First story that comes to mind here is when I first tried to cook. I was only making spaghetties but I managed to screw that up properly. First of all, the actual spaghetti. It said on the box to use 3 litres of water for them. I couldn't find our measuring cup, so I just took a random glass and assumed it was probably about the same size (boy was I wrong. Well, i was 8 years old, lol). So I boiled the water, threw the spaghetties in and just let them be. They came out completey yucky, some parts were close to dissolving, others not even wet. But that was still the good part of my cooking. The sauce was when catastrophe kicked in. I put oil in a pan and heated it. When it was already cooking, I but in that concentrated tomato stuff without any water. Well, because the pan was extremely hot it instantly started burning and smoking and stinking. I ended up flushing it down the toilet.
Uh, and another story, some years back I made some microwave dish. I started heating it but then my Dad reminded me that I had to go to my sports club. So I just went and kinda forgot about the dish. Nobody used the microwave for some time then, and when I did at so me point, maybe a week later, it was soooo disgusting. Nobody had taken care of that dish and after having been there for a week you can imagine what it looked like.
And here's a really cute story. When I was 6 I was staying at a friend's house for some week while my parents were in Russia. One day we woke up and her Mom was not there. So we had to make breakfast for ourselves. Of course we wanted the standart warm milk. So what was my idea? We just poured the milk into a pot and put the pot on the heater. And maybe I should also mention that it was summer, so you can imagine just how warm the heaster was.
Oh my God, I really seem to be a kitchen screw up, because more and more stories keep coming to my head!
