Cordelia&Doyle

ive got to agree with Lilah, although i believe that at first it would work and they would be happy, it would be short-lived, they just weren't two people who at the time could have really worked through a relationship. The smallest problem would have ended their relationship.
 
I think Doyle had a crush on Cordy, he was in no way in love with her, and at that point there's no way she would have been with a half man half demon!
 
I guess their relationship'd be v.emotional and short one...But they'd definitely look great as a couple...
 
at that point in time she didn't really want much to do with the other "half". Besides Angel, But of course that's because he's you know, scrumptious guy or whatever
 
Doyle: "Oh. Well, its all going to be okay. (Cordy slaps him)What was that for?"
Cordy: "Why didn't you tell me that you were half demon? I thought we agreed that secrets are bad!"
Doyle: "I wanted to tell you. I was afraid. I thought if I did, you'd reject me."
Cordy: "I've rejected you way before now! So, you're half demon. Big Whoop! I can't believe you'd think I'd care about that. I mean, I work for a vampire! Hello?"
Doyle: "It's true. I just..."
Cordy: "What do you think I am, superficial? - So you're half demon. That's so far down the list, way under 'short' and 'poor'! - Is there anything else I should know?"
Doyle: "The half demons thing is pretty much my big secret."
Cordy: "Good. That's out. It's done. - Would you ask me out to dinner already?"

I think Doyle really cared about Cordelia and towards the end Cordy definately had some fond feelings for Doyle. I don't think the half-demon thing would have been an issue.
 
They indeed did pretty well together, but so did Wes and Cordy in s3.
 
It has been a long time since I saw a early S1 episode featuring Doyle, and whenever the so called Spike night was on, I Will Remember You aired and it showed Cordy and Doyle and they looked so good together!
 
i would have loved cordy and doyle to get together, they would have been so cute. I felt so bad for doyle, he was in love w/ her and she didn't even notice!! I cried so much when he died, atleast they kissed...
 
Yeah..when I saw him I just wanted to cheer him up and give him a hug even tho I wasn't attracted to him..
