ILLYRIAN
Druish Pervonian Wizard
Happy that her travels had finished for a while, a heavily pregnant
Darla made it to the town of Totnes. The captain of the ship she
was on told her that a passport was necessary, but she was
becoming fed up with his silly advances and really p_ _ _ _ d off
with his cautious attempts at bedding her. One night she let him,
but she did wonder what the new captain would taste like.
Sat in her room, during one of those long moments of boredom, she
had the memories of Angel trying to be nice to her. Mind you, as
she remembered the other dreams of throwing Angel into a pit of
wood then walking away smiling while those silly schoolgirls threw
matches at him. Oh how she smiled.
Sitting at the stone cross in what the towns people jokingly called
the town square, Darla was befriended by another vampire, Rahl,
who offered to let her stay with her in Cornworthy. Two days later
after two and a half years of being pregnant Darla succumbed to
the imminent pressures of childbirth. A local going home late one
evening saw Darla collapse in the garden, not being able to find a
pulse the midwife called an ambulance.
After Darla had been on the ward for six minutes she convinced the
other women not to annoy her. In the morning she got the same
respect from the nurses. One bright and happy nurse said she
wanted to see the happy smiles of the women and opened a
window blind. Darla asked her politely not to open the next window
blind, but the nurse carried on with what she was doing, until Darla
let loose with a barrage of insults culminating with telling the nurse
that she'd rip her throat out and drink her dry. The nurse closed the
window blind. She did how-ever suggest to Darla that it would be
nice to open the blinds just a few inches but she recoiled in horror
as Darla began a long, low, growl.......................
I wonder if Angel's ears burnt, they definately would have done as
the second girl was born. Rahl was with her during the births, she
knew what Darla would want just after the births. A black plastic
bag with a black pipe was a handy container for Darla to drink the
human blood from. Darla continued to mutter the obsenities about
Angel. Rahl pointed out that getting maintenance from a vampire
for two vampire girls might be problematic.
During the next few days the hospital administators experienced
another problem, there was several extra unexplained deaths, even
more so when Rahl came to visit. Darla did learn one thing during
her stay in the hospital, not to visit the people on the Oncology
ward again. Whilst the walking on the ceiling was fun, and the
flying through the corridors did appear to be interesting, she forgot
to change into a bird several times.
Lying on her bed one night she thought of Fred and Wesley, and
she wondered how they react the knowing that the Tro-Clon was
in fact, Darla and her Daughters.
