No, I don't think he loved her at all. I believe Darla on some level loved him, but it wasn't mutual.

I'm thinking in a way...He cared for her..She made him for crying out loud...I think he loved her passion for causing pain and destroying stuff...But i don't think a massive bad ass like angelus could love anyone or anything but torture...As rayne said...So i am gonna go with no...but if there was an in a way i would go for that...

I don't think Angelus loved her, In season to there is debate over it, and he says for the most part that he never loved her. She left him to die and fend for himself in France. I wouldn't call that love. Maybe an over-powering lust.

Well Angel already answered the question if Angelus loved Darla in S2 I believe and I agree with him.
Angelus didnt love Darla, they just had passion and lust when it came to them.

I think Angelus enjoyed the opportunity to impress Darla with his sadism. He wanted a witness to his savage artwork, that he didn't feel compeled to kill or drive away afterwards
As Angel (S2 and 3):
Angel: 'loved' her in the sense that he knew her well, and cared for her wellfare. It wasn't romantic love, it was love from understanding; the kind of love you can have for any human being. It is accentuated by the need Darla had for someone who understood her, especially when she was (briefly) human again.

I don't think he was capable of loving. When he slept with Darla in series 2 I think he realised how much he cared about her but I don't think Angelus loved her. Angel might have, Angelus definately not!
