Yes, and I'm not necessarily blaming him for it. I'd say it's up to the show's writers and directors to push back against that and make sure the character remains true to his core personality even as he grows and changes, and that any change should come across as organic. For example, I'd say his levity around baby Connor was believable because that's what happens when you have a child; you do turn into a dork. But the rest of his goofballing wasn't.I think that's inevitable though. I think any actor would find it hard to play a character for so long and not end up imprinting on that character a bit.
