Well when Angel said he didnt want to go that far.... i dont think he meant it as in we had sex... i think it was more the fact he had to kiss her and put on an act and he knew that would hurt buffy.... he would have acted and it would have been different if they had sex.... thats just my opinion

That would explain his sexual frustration though, i expect he did that to relieve himself of it?
As for having sex with Faith he didn't i'm sure as someone pointed out it would of come out sooner or later...the news of the deed before anyone gets smutty...Eve would be voyuer then if she implyed that she saw him in the shower...Masterbating...mind you Angel and Faith now there's a good coupling
 
I don't think Angel and Faith slept together. Like PJ said, Angel told Faith in the episode Sanctuary that they didn't sleep together. When Angel told Buffy that he didn't want to go that far, he meant with the way he was acting. I mean Angel was pretty harsh to Buffy when he was pretending to be Angelus.

Yeah i agree with VG, When he said he didn't want to go that far, he ment with the being harsh... plus i mean Buffy having to watch him and Faith kiss and be all over each other hurt Buffy, even if she knew it was an act...
 
I really don't think they did it, I mean Angel wouldn't do that to B, and of course Faith would totally do that, but Angel defintily would have made some excuses not to, there's no way he'd betray B just to fool the Mayor and Faith, like u guys said, Angel and Buffy were in love, and he wouldn't do that.
 
i don't think that angel slept with faith. he didn't loose his soul so he wasn't angelus so he still was into buffy and he would never do that to her. he was sorry only for kissing faith in front of buffy.

It's highly doubtful that Angel and Faith "did the deed" in "Enemies" for the simple reason that he at that time BELIEVED that he would lose his soul if he did so. Other than Darla in Season Four of ANGEL, the only other person besides Buffy was Nina in Season Five, and only then after Wesley assured him that "99.99 percent of couples DON'T share a moment of 'perfect happiness.' If Angel still believed that at that time, he certainly wouldn't have risked his soul by having sex with a then evil Faith.

Only for that reason? Nothing to do with the fact that he loved Buffy and would never do that to her?
 
Of course Angel loved Buffy. The question here is whether he would be willing to go that far to convince Faith that he had, in deed, gone evil. I just don't think he would've been willing to take that risk, since losing his soul was what he was PRETENDING to do in the first place. It would be like shooting yourself in the head while pretending to commit suicide: convincing, but counterproductive.
 
I get what youre saying. But the way I see it, even if there was no chance of losing his soul, he would still never have slept with Faith. He loved Buffy too much. They would find another way of getting to Faith.

I pretty much agree with the whole Angel not having sex with Faith.. I dont think he would have as some of you have said that he thought sex = lose soul... well in s3 anyways..
 
Angel never has sex with Faith. HE gets confused, in AS1 when Faith says she did it with Buffy's boyfriend. HE says they never did it. Besides he never lost his soul that time. It was all faked.

We get that Angel faked it. The point of contention is how he managed to convince Faith he was Angelus. That is now and will remain a mystery.
I must admit, the only way I could think of, had I been Faith, was that he dropped his pants and went of a Ride on the 2.10 to Faithville.

Would Angel have had a moment of happiness if Buffy gave Angel 'Anthony Stewart'😉

I don't see the argument really. She had no idea that the demon/shaman was working with Giles. She's never met Angelus. Angel goes from nice and broody to pretty Angelus incarnate. Makes perfect sense to me.

It's not a matter of "she's never met Angelus", she HAS had dealings with Angel.
She knows that for him to revert to Angelus is to lose his soul. To lose his soul, she knows he needs to have a moment of perfect happiness. He reached that a year ago by 'doing the do' with Buffy.
It is assumed by all those in the show that it is sex that is the cause NOT just finding that one special person AND Faith knows Buffy wouldn't have sex with Angel.
See all that, thats why it's not implausible that Angel and Faith got 'sexual'.

The problem we have here is that Angel said he never had sex with Faith...BUT what we don't have is any reason, now, to explain why Faith would believe Angel was Angelus, or even more, why the Mayor would believe this.
The 'because I said' argument that could be used by Angel doesn't meet.
To prove his 'Angelus' status, he would have to either screw Faith OR murder someone.
