Did Snyder know about Buffy?

Okay, we know Snyder knew about demons and such, and was helping the police cover up what was really happening at Sunnydale High. We also know that he didn't just think of demons as animals like the people of the Initiative did, since he knew the school was on a hellmouth so probably knew some stuff about mythology. But did he know about Buffy?

He always seemed particularly mean to Buffy, Giles, and the scoobies, but why?

Also, do you think The Watcher's Council know about the big government cover-up? They seem to have some power in the government(they had the power to arrange it so that Giles gets deported)
 
i personally think he did know about her, just from the way he spoke to her, he had that "i know your up to something" look!
 
well he knew he was standing on the hellmouth at least! i dont think he knew what Buffy was because he would of cut her some slack!
 
I think he did knew about Buffy as the vampire slayer.

I mean remember in the end of Becoming Part. 2 when Buffy left the library and Synder called the Mayor and said, "Tell the Mayor I have wonderful news."

I don't think the Watcher's Council knew about the government cover - up.
 
Didn't everybody know in "the Prom", wouldn't you expect Snyder to know that aswell!?!?!?

And remember that episode, with the Mayor and Buffy with those spider-boxes!

Snyder: "Why can't you people be dealing drugs?"

and did anyone else notice that? they always called him a rodent, and he ended up being eaten by a snake? coiincidence i thin knot (but probably lol)

well... the thing is... Remember snyder wasn't covering stuff for the goverment, or for people... that was what the mayor told him to do, remember he didn't want to have much attention drawn to sunnydale in those years near the ascention
 
I think he suspected something but wasnt sure until he saw Buffy beat up that Cop, he seemed really surprised when he saw it but then called to tell the Mayor about some "Good News." Im thinking it meant he knew for sure that she was the slayer.
 
I think the mayor told her she was dangerous or something, and that's why he always wanted her out... Snyder wanted his school to be safe and all that, and if he knew buffy was the slayer, he would've wanted her there, but the mayor probably told him otherwise
 
I think that Snyder (my last name, btw 😛) didn't know that Buffy was the Slayer, but he did know that she wasn't the source of all the trouble even though she was always in the middle of it.

Look at School Hard and Choices. In School hard, Buffy fought the "gang on pcp". In choices, Buffy fought to protect everyone in the cafeteria.

I think that had Snyder been less of an twerp, he would have given her more of a benefit of a doubt and cut her some slack. As it was, he would have given her a hard time even if he did know, because he saw her as a threat to his authority or something.

Is there a a Synder fan club anywhere? cause i for one thought he was really funny in a annoying, creepy but totally adorable way.(he was so tiny!)
I loved the line in Gingerbread when Buffy asks who came up with the name Moo and he says something like ".......I belive you call her Mom". That was a classic

I don't think he knew that Buffy was the slayer although he did know about the things that go bump in the night in eveyones favourite Hellmouth.
He didn't even seem fazed before a giant snake gobbled him up.

he never quite seemed comfortabel in his own skin
like he knew waht was going on, and he could do something about it but he never quite knew how to do anything about it
lik his only skill was picking up the phone and caling the mayor, or making buffy get in trouble
but he knew bigger thingswere happening
i dont know

I suppose we shouldn't be surprised he generates such love-hate feelings as a character. The actor also plays Quark in StarTrek DS 9, he's known for making people love/hate him. 🙂
 
IMO I think he did know about her. that "i know youre up to something" look gave me the wiggins. On the matter w/ the watchers council I am not really sure.
 
series 2 is on sky one ever day now and hes so damn anoying and he must of knew something but not that she was the slayer.
