Hmm. If that's the episode that I think it is, you could be right. Surely, we could see that as a sign of things to come... the path o' corruption, even if the guy did deserve it. (And if it's the guy I think it was--you're right he did.)

Hauser was WR&H's special ops team leader. The one who was going to butcher a room full of school children and who professed his absolute faith in, and embrace of, the concept of evil... so yeah he kind of had it coming.
Still murder though. Humans should be dealt with by mortal law not demons hunters (deja vu... I seem to remember bringing this up many times loooooong ago).

Yeah, I agree with you on that. Of course, even if I didn't agree, Buffy already laid down the law on this particular issue in 6x20 Villains--that human law should prevail when dealing with human crimes. And it makes sense. I agree with her.

Boy, when ya think about it, it sorta takes the teeth out of Angel's later "we even gotta protect the bad humans" speech that he made regarding Knox.
