Do people with younger sisters like Dawn more?

I've got a younger sister, and at first I didnt like her... Dawn i mean not my sister.. but i like Dawn a lot now. I mean I like my sister more...

Me and my sister are very close, and I think that Buffy and Dawn as sisters have a good bond even if they do argue and fight alot. And maybe that's another thing that makes you like Dawn more, is her bond with Buffy.

I dislike Dawn but I am myself the younger sister. Though my big sis is the bratty whiny one of us so there might be something about Dawn that reminds about her. God, I really can't stand all that whining and give-me-attention 'tude

I was JUST talking about this at dinner tonight with my little sister. I'm the oldest and Dawn reminds me of my youngest sister so much. She's everything annoying and awful about my little sister without the good things (like the fact she's my sister). I hate her very much. Xena (my youngest sister), on the other hand, loves her. She relates to her and sympathizes with her quite a bit. She said in seasons 5 and 6 she felt really bad about Dawn being excluded from the group and she would have done most off the stuff Dawn did... things I see no excuse for.

Aww at your sis's name. <3
I've never had an issue with Dawn at all. If anything I feel frustrated for her, because she's always expected to screw up, and she's got this knowledge that everything in her life was fabricated.

I don't have any siblings, or close family at all, so that's clearly not a factor.

I have a little sister. If she was like Dawn and we would be standing on that building in "The Gift", I would have been standing behind her while screaming: "Make a salto!"

I love Dawn she is one of my favorite characters and i do not have a younger sister, not even a younger brother. Don't get me wrong i'm not saying when she first showed up she wasn't annoying but I guess i just kinda understood. Once the middle almost end of season 6 came along I started liking her a whole lot more though lol

I have two younger sisters. I only had one when Buffy was on. I cant stand Dawn. Her worst characteristic was the fact that she was completely selfish. My sister is nothing like that and thats probably where the lack of correlation comes in.

I have two younger sisters. The youngest was the most like Dawn. I think I might have pushed her in The Gift, but I look at her now and I'm glad I never had a chance to do something like that. My sisters are pretty awesome 🙂 Plus i've net met anyone, or anyones siblings that are as annoying as Dawn.

I am the younger sister and I was probably a bit annoying, but not as annoying as Dawn. I can see why she was portrayed that way though, as sisters do get on each other's nerves from time to time. However there were some times when she was just downright rude and insensitive, like in Season 6.

I just have an older brother who I love very very much. We get along fantastically. I wouldn't say I'm like Dawn. I don't dislike Dawn as much as I used to.

I have a younger sister but she acts nothing like Dawn. Some of you already know I hate Dawn with a passion. Having a younger sister myself does not make me like her.

I have a little sister, but I still found Dawn really annoying -at least when I was younger. Nowadays I can stand her, thought I still "hate" her occasionally i.e. every time she get's too "Me, me, me!"-oriented or screams -that girl has a high pitched scream *covers her ears*.
I.e. in " Older and Far Away" they're locked in the house with a demon and she just thinks about "You just want to leave Me!" instead of thinking about the danger they all are in.

She was a lot nicer in season 7, when she matured, though in Empty places she was a bit harsh towards Buffy.

I hate Older and Far Away. It's the epitiome of why I hate Dawn
I don't have a younger sister and I LOVE Dawn. I have a niece and I love her. And I would gladly give my life in a heartbeat to protect her. That's why the monks made her into the person they did, beacause everyone would be falling over one another to protect her.

After Joyce's death Dawn is Buffy's reason to go on. She is Buffy's reason for everything.

I have a younger sister and didn't like dawn but I think that was sort of her intended purpose. Younger sisters are annoying. The viewer can almost feel like they are part of the scooby gang and Dawn is definitely not welcome at first.

But do you love her? Would you give your life for her in a heartbeat?

I like Dawn and I have a younger sister who is very like her. Hmmm. You may be onto something here.

I have two younger sisters, who are just as annoying as Dawn, and I hated Dawn. I think it's because the only reason I can stand my sisters is because they are family. Dawn is not, she is just everything I dont like about my sisters.

But you're Buffy at the beginning of 'No Place Like Home'. Think of Buffy at the end of it.
Dawn is the greatest, you can't help but love her
