I just wanted to add 2 things.
It seems to me:
1. There are more attractive women then equally attractive men. The ratio changes depending on where you are, but in general this is my observation.
2. I think a lot of guys get judged harshly. I see men married to models or actresses who are clean looking, smiling, with nice hair and I think attractive looking. Or at least attractive enough. Attractive isn't just model-esque features. If the expectations are lowered realistically, I think many guys qualify as good looking if you aren't expecting perfect.
