I voted yes, physically. He's the stereotypical "hunk." Nice smile. Chiseled jaw. Bit of a beefy body type, which I dig. He's no Giles, but what's not to like?
Buuuut... the question was not is DB, his portrayer, attractive; rather, the question asks whether or not "Angel" is attractive. And that, boys and girls, is a real head scratcher to me. Pretty much everything about Angel except for DB's physical appearance turns me off. I don't like his personality. I don't like how he's always dictating to Buffy, treating her as a precious object instead of a trusted supernatural partner and equal. I don't like how judgmental he is of, well, practically everyone in his orbit. I don't like his hypocrisy. Sure, he fights the good fight, except when there's something personal at stake (heh). When it's his family - Dru, Darla, Spike, Connor, etc. - there's always an exception to be made, rules to be bent. In some ways, that's relatable. He's a flawed hero, and that makes for a more compelling story. You never quite know which way he'll go. But a compelling character isn't necessarily someone I'd find personally attractive. Basically, I think that if I were ever to meet Angel (with no prior knowledge of his existence), my first reaction would be, "yum!" My more considered reaction, after learning more about him would be, "Uhh... naaah. I'm good." He's one night stand material, not relationship material.
