Yeah, we have a big PITA Siberian Husky. She's red with blue eyes, very pretty, but not the smartest dog on the block LOL. Husky's are notoriously hard to train, I should know- it took us 2 tries to pass the beginniner's class in Obedience School! We've had her for 12 years now, and she was 1 when we got her, so she's getting up there. Her hearing is really, really bad, Huskies are prone to ear infections. She mostly lays around now, although if the door is open- watch out! She's out like a shot, and there's no way to catch her. We usually just wait for her to come back or a neighbor will be able to get her & call us. She's been pretty good with the kids. She snapped at our oldest once, mainly we think to just tell him not to come too close (he was 6 or 7 mos old & crawling at that time). We don't think she would have actually hurt him. She did get in big trouble for that, though. She's grown more tolerant of them over the years though, so that when our youngest was crawling & walking, she would let him lay on top of her & play with her fur and tail.
