I'm somewhere in the middle when it comes to Kennedy.

I personally would have liked to see Willow single in the last season and really focus on herself and her redemption. I know this was hard due to the season-long arc going on and how she ties into it, but especially after having such a long relationship with Tara too.

In some ways, I think she actually fit with Willow due to her personality. Willow and Tara found one another during a time when Willow was going through a hard breakup and figuring herself out. Willow grew as a person, and so did her powers. I think after Dark!Willow, there is no way she could have been with someone like Tara. I liked Tara most of the time, but she was still kind of demure. Kennedy worked because she wasn't afraid of Willow, and her being determined too.

I also think after all the spats Tara and Willow had about the magic that it made sense for Willow to be with someone who wasn't a witch. Kennedy didn't understand most of it, but she was still supportive, and it only bothered her the time Willow sucked energy out of her to open that gateway.

Do I think Kennedy was the best choice for Willow? No, probably not, but I didn't really have a problem with her. I know most people find her annoying, but she spoke up a lot when other characters wouldn't. I think what I personally liked about her is that she was willing to speak up, willing to take charge. Although being kind of bratty, she had the makings of a leader, and we did see this a little at times, which is one of the reasons I think she clashed with people so much.

She was definitely more tolerable in the comics, but I think that's because she had matured. She became an actual leader instead of what she thought a leader should be.

The only thing that I thought was extremely lacking in the comics was the complete dropping of the “broke up with Willow” subplot from S8.

The massive shake-up at the end of that season ended with Willow and Kennedy breaking up, and Willow attributes it to her being normal and without magical capabilities. I remember reading that and thinking that was such an interesting idea, and an admittedly good way to break them up. Instead they just had the two reconcile and eventually plan to get married, which felt kind of tacky. That was such an interesting idea that I felt never got expanded upon like it should have, and the Willow: Wonderland series certainly made no effort to explore that concept either.

I don’t mind them being together if they’re written well, but you don’t just introduce a tasty plot point like that and then drop it soon after.

What would you have liked to see about Kennedy . Think myself that Kennedy not giving her last name was a bad start.

Kennedy was the ONE character that I absolutely HATED more then anyone ever on the show......and that includes Warren

S7 has an army of new characters ranging from awful to average. Kennedy is in the lowest tier for me. There's nothing I like about her, she's like a poor man's Faith with no charisma. It's a crime that they paired her up with Willow. 😡

I see Kennedy as being like George S. Patton, the most effective general in the US army during WWII. Patton had more family money than any of the other generals and could have easily evaded his duty, but like Kennedy (who could have done the same), he relished the fight. Patton got into trouble by insulting a soldier who was in hospital for PTSD (the same as Kennedy mistreating Chloe). This got publicized and as a result, General Eisenhower did not let him take over responsibility for the push toward Berlin. I would not be surprized to find out that Patton was used as the model for Kennedy.

You know, the better question is, does anyone remember if Lesbian Tillow Shippers liked Kennedy back in 2002?

All I remember are Wiccans feeling betrayed over the Dark Willow arc, and lesbians who felt the show (for whatever reason) was a "safe space" feeling betrayed over Tara. S6 alienated others (some who quit the show). Can't recall what was said of s7.

How did Kennedy use her money to get out of it . Myself i thought she used it to just get what she wanted & since she couldn't get Buffy went after Willow .

I chose "I don't care" because I suppose I'm indifferent to Kennedy? I don't really like her, but I don't hate her either. She was an interesting choice for a love interest for Willow - but I have no interest in Willow whatsoever at this point in the series, so it's all inconsequential to me.

I dont like Kennedy because she is just a selfish, kinda scummy, rich, bratty, bowhead. And that is all that is presented.

Kennedy is used to getting what she wants and acts accordingly. We get to see the good & bad & ugly results.

Kennedy is Cordy before Daddy's bankruptcy without the conscience or brain cells.

P.S. - I expect Kennedy would just despise Cordy as a poor wannabe who was 'putting pn airs' & acting better than her betters.

The one thing that bugged me the most about Kennedy was the fact that the writers treated her like she was somehow better than the other potentials. Plus her sudden implemention into the inner scooby circle was rather annoying as well.

And in one esp Kennedy shows up & then it seems by the next esp they going out .
It makes you think Kennedy wanted control & since she couldn't get Buffy went after Willow .
