Does Angel Deserve Buffy?

No.

And as this is both the Bangel subforum and the Be Nice Week, that's all I'm saying on the topic. 😉

But, ya see, Angel and Cordy weren't in love in those moments. They were friends. And friends sometimes have issues. But, even then, I never saw them go for jugular in eachother the way that Buffy did in Sanctuary. Even in Offspring she doesn't attack his vampirism or his feelings at all. She attacks him being a man. It's not a deep cut. It's a pretty shallow one in fact.

I don't see it that way at all, but I have no desire to fight you on it. This discussion won't make you see Buffy or B/A in a more positive light, anymore than it could make me see them in a negative light.

🙂

The Buffy that I saw in that episode was rash, angry, hurt and careless. None of those things mean that she wasn't also the woman who loves Angel.

It was hardly her finest moment, it was just Buffy so thoroughly out of her depth and without control. It would be nice to say that we all would treat those we love wonderfully no matter what, but it is probably more true that they are the ones that we punish when we panic.
