I have to admit that until about 3 days ago, I was 99.9% sure this show was a goner. It looks like Fox is trying to go back to being the edgy, outside-the-box network it was 20 years ago. That's a surprising decision, since the other networks are going in exactly the opposite direction, especially since the economy went to hell.
This renewal news made such an impression on me that I actually had a Dollhouse-related dream last night (I almost never have fandom-related dreams). For some reason, they'd converted the Dollhouse into a fancy restaurant... there were tables set up with candlelight and everything, and members of the general public were eating there. I knew it was the Dollhouse, although I don't think we were supposed to know that.
They seated me at a table, then had to move me because they'd accidentally put me at a table that was permanently reserved for one of their regulars. Then Boyd, in his suit and tie, brought me a basket of dinner rolls.
I didn't see Echo or Sierra or Victor, but I think I saw November. The dream ended before I got my food, so I can't really give a review of Chez Dollhouse.
