Funny if we don't see him again. Now I remember next to nothing about what's going on next (yay! it's like watching a new show). But because of the events of Epitath 1, I can assume that Perrin had something to do with the post apocalyptic world. That would make sense if Perrin did become president, it would directly lead to Rossum having the power over the country and eventually taking over the world with their technology. Anyway, it's probably super unrelated. But speaking of, why no word on Alpha yet this season?

I'm going to assume that Perrin does lead to the events of Epitaph. I have a vague memory of how the rest of the season unfolds but I don't think I understood it the first time so maybe it will all make more sense this time. Yea I don't know why no word of Alpha. I wonder what he's doing out there?

The Public Eye: This is the first episode in which I felt the plot kicked into high gear. Lots of stuff happens in a very short space of time.
More Senator Perrin. I could watch Alexis Denisof pretty much do anything, he's so good. He's like a more believable version of Ballard- totally principled.
Ah, can't say I never really warmed to Madeline- I get that I'm supposed to feel sorry for her, especially when she finds out that she killed a guy (or her body did anyway...) and yet I just...don't. I can't really explain it except that it's so obvious she's being used.
She made a deal, took the money and is now peeved because she was made to sleep with people like Paul. I think its the taking the money part that bugs me- it implies acceptance of all that went before whatever happened. But I suppose knowing changed things for her.
Still doesn't sit right with me though.
Again, I'm struck by how good the scenes are with Ballard when he's away from Echo. He and Adelle and Topher have some nice exchanges. 🙂
Echo as an escort...did I mention that I like this episode quite a lot. I actually think Bree is sorta nice, cute for a working girl.
And...Perrin's a doll- I do remember being completely flawed by this the first tiem out because it completely flipped the whole plot and reasoning on it's head. Brilliant move.
I hate Cindy. Die, Cindy, Die. Yay, Echo kicks her butt. 😀
And Bennett. Summer does a great job of at first just being unnerving in her behaviour, and then slowly dialing it up to creepy and then by the time she meets Caroline she seems flat out sinister. Really Great job. (I recently watched her in Arrow...and saw how utterly wasted she was on that crap-pile show as a sneering baddie. 🙁)
Interesting that the DC Dollhouse uses Greek codenames and isn't half as polished looking as LA- more clinical.
The Left Hand:
Another solid episode- instead of tons of plot we really just get loads of great interaction scenes, Bennett/Topher, Bennett/Echo, Echo/Perrin- all of which are really memorable in their own way.
Bennett/Topher is about the sweetest/dorkiest couple on the show, or possibly ever. Their really great in every interaction, even when they're trying to betray each other.
And we see the other side of Bennett- really sinister towards Echo/Caroline (I can't remember how justified she is in her anger, but boy is she mad) bordering on the completely unstable.
Echo/Perrin- I always think Eliza and Alexis have great chemistry together, both in this and the previous episode they just gell really well performance-wise. You can't help but feel incredibly bad for Perrin, even after just two episodes.
Enver as Topher is freaky good, I mean it is uncanny how good it is. It's Enver's best performance yet.
Do I feel bad that Perrin killed his wife? Yes, but the fact that he chose to 'forget' rather than expose the Dollhouse was regrettable. I know he loved her, but he also knew that she hated him. *sigh*
Unfortunately this is where things start to rush towards the finale- they could've done so much with the 'war between the houses' plotline. This should've been the focus of the rest of the season, then the writers should've moved on to 'Echo lost in the real world' (a great idea but rushed as I remember).
