Just finished watching this- was too busy being on a plane and such yesterday to watch it, damn it, bad timing or what?- and I am IN LOVE with it! Just as I think I'm a little in love with Neil Patrick Harris, haha. This was just amazingly fantastic. And all the songs are in my head so badly. I smiled all the way through, each and every actor was great.
And something that REALLY made me smile? I had my daughter on my knee while I was watching it a few minutes ago and she actually started doing this little smiley-giggly attempting-to-clap thing whenever they sang. A very young Whedonite in my hands here. Exxxxxcellent.

NPH is so good at delivering lines Whedon-style. It's like the 2 of them were made to work together.

And Felicia Day can actually sing. Dance too apparently.

Slightly OT: In another reality Felicia could so play Willow.

Who would have thought of Nathan Fillion for a musical? Joss Whedon I guess. And more surprisingly, it works.

David Fury and Marti Noxon are supposed to make appearances as newscasters.

"A maaaaan's gotta do what a man's gotta do..." Can't get that one out of my head. I like it when Joss has different characters sing the same lyric...casts it in a different light, as it ties the whole work together. I guess that's common technique for a musical, right? I like it.

And when he has three or four characters singing over each other...kind of frustrating, but fun, cos it's conversational, makes you watch the thing multiple times to decipher it all.

That was pure genius! Yay for another great installment can't wait for part III. I just hope they can get a lot into that last 15 minutes. The music is so great and I am excited to see what Dr. Horrible is going to do next it looks bad for Captain Hammer. :smile: But man he is a Corporate tool for sure.

Act II was fantastic! The music was even better than it was in the first act (especially that first song, where Penny and Dr. Horrible have that duet, and the "Brand New Day" song) and there were some hilarious lines ("Uh, Billy? You're driving a spork into your leg." "And these are not the hammer. *walks away, then walks back* The hammer is my penis.") I can't believe there's only one act left...I really hope there's a sequel!

Loved part 2. So cool that I can see it before the US people wake up and crash the server again 😛
The music was a little better, Neil is awesome. The only annoying thing is when watching it does this skippy thing every minute or so.. I have to pause it for a while and start again.. not sure if that's firefox or just my internet?
