Dreams? Nightmares? Prophecy Girls (or Boys)?

My dreams have a tendency to be creepily linear. I have the funny, no-sense dreams, but most of the time there's a rhyme and reason to my dreams.

I had this fandom clusterf-ck dream a while ago...Cordy, Fred, Angel, Piper and Phoebe from Charmed, Mal, River, Inara...with a guest appearance from my ex. It had something to do with Pylea and the cow thing and guys chasing us...it was weird, but kinda neat.
 
I had this dream last night--more of a nightmare actually--involving my old stereo wanting to kill me. Yes, in fact, I was rather sleep deprived. But what made it so scary was that it was a false wake-up dream. I woke up from the stereo danger and there was a paper bag in front of my face that I think was in cahoots with the stereo. Then I woke up for real. I hate those dreams!

I know, false wake-ups in nightmares are awful! That can sometimes keep me in creeps for quite some time after the REAL wake-up...
I have been taking African Dream Root for a couple of days now, it's supposed to effect your dreams...make them much more vivid and realistic, and increase your likelihood of having a lucid dream. My dreams last night were a bit more vivid than usual but tonight will be the third night so I'm hoping for some more obvious changes. 🙂
 
I rarely remember my dreams (for more than five minutes) but today is an exception, even if there´s not much. I´m sitting on a bus-stop waiting for the bus (no surprise there since I don´t drive). It´s not the first time I´m sitting on that bus-stop, it´s always the same then I dream. But in reality I haven´t even seen it. Go figure. Well a car stops and it´s a parent of some kids I´ve worked with. I´ve actually worked with her a couple of times too, and of course her daughter and friends are sitting in the backseat. Well, she asks me if I´ve heard anything which I haven´t since I have no idea what she´s talking about. But it seems they´re gonna call from her work next week (since they didn´t do it Friday) and offer me a job. Nothing special but it would be nice if that´s true. I so need a job.

Then I do remember my dreams there always seem to be a connection to work (mostly children) or people from 9th grade (pretty much the same people from 1st grade). Not necessarily work or schoolrelated, but they always seem to be there. Current friends rarely appears but it does happen.

I had a reappearing nightmare then I was little though, and I still remember parts of it. Nowdays I don´t have a problem with it since the dream itself isn´t scary. But then I woke up I was scared half to death. So there I am living in the woods with my friends, the animals (actually kind of a “Bobo”-thing but my guess is you´ve never hear of that comic). We´re walking around having a good time and then we come across a glade and suddenly this gigantic (and I mean really gigantic, not even close to regular size) truck appears. It´s actually just standing there no driver or anything, but I don´t notice it until I´m about three feet from it. And then I wake up with this awful feeling. I never understood the meaning of it but it followed me for a couple of years. Now I just laugh about it being so stupid.


And as far as I can trust my memory I´ve never had a Buffy-dream. Daydreaming of the girls of Buffy is of course a whole other matter.

I saw a lovely dream this night: Buffy/Sarah was in hospital for some reason, and i went there to see her. Then we talked something random for awhile, and then i suddenly asked from her; "Sarah I love you, Will You marry me? She said "Yes, I love you too". Then i woke up and started to cry because I know that it will never happen in real life. Now i'm quite depressed because it will never happen🙁
 
Had another one of my Fred-turning-into-Illyria dreams tonight (actually, she didn't fully transform... got injected by a strange, grinning man with a long needle into the spine while talking to me, and then started to say things that clearly weren't Fred speaking and alluded to Illyria)... I wonder if those dreams will end when I've finally seen the episodes in question?

Btw, great twist at the end of that dream: had a fake wake-up and thought, still inside the dream "Man, I've got to tell the guys on BB about this one." :biggrin:
 
i remember when i was younger and i couldnt believe i had never had a buffy related dream.... and then i did and nobody from buffy was in it but i was a watcher..... major disappointment.

(i tend to dream about the apocalypse and zombies most nights which aint so nice)
 
I never get to remember my dreams. Seriously, I can count all the dreams I remembered on my hands.
But one of the few I do remember involved Sarah Michelle Gellar, lol. Now, it was about 5 years ago so I'm a bit shaky on the details, but basically she was just going around from house to house, trying to sell something. Wonder if that was some sort of foreseeing 😛
 
i love my dreams! 😀 except the bad ones...... i found something common in my more nightmarish dreams is that im being chased by a demon-y thing, or anything evil with mystical powers (once it was even a disney movie villain!). i read somewhere that who's chasing you represents something about you, and you're supposed to stop running, turn around, and ask them who they are. but really, if some creepy, powerful, demonic thing is chasing me, there's no way im turing around to let myself be dream-killed! i know who it is! an evil thing! i saw it before it started chasing me! 😛

but still, nightmares aside, im a big fan of my dreams! is that weird? 😛 my dreams are always these really interesting, random stories, and i love them! :silly: sometimes they even have buffy characters, or characters from other shows. id be very upset if i stopped having these cool dreams, or stopped remembering them in the morning when i woke up. ill have to post the next cool one i have 🙂.

I keep having dreams that I've made up with a friend I fought with FIVE YEARS AGO who hasn't spoken to me since. I hope it's prophetic; otherwise, it's just freaking annoying.
 
Ok, I don't know if I should be telling anyone this cos it makes me look a bit crazy, lol, but what the hell!

I had a really vivid dream that I was torturing one of my friends like in Five by Five when Faith was torturing Wesley. And in my dream it went on for hours and hours.:chainsaw:

But it wasn't a nighmare or anything felt quite normal till I woke up and thought, 'woah, that was weird!'

Funny thing is, I'm going camping with said friend. I better not mention it in case she gets a bit freaked out.:angel:
