Okay, last night, I had an incredibly detailed Buffy dream. It was insanely detailed -- more like an arc or even a season than an episode. So weird.

So, anyway: the Scoobs' newest slayer central is located in a super secret network of underground caves. It's a very dangerous network of caves, too, as there are many seemingly endless drop-offs along the way and a great big underground reservoir underneath. The dream opens, of course, with a glimpse of an innocent boy out for a lark. He falls. By the time he lands in the water, he's already smacked his head a couple of times and is unconscious. He begins to drown. Then, a vampire or other mostly human-looking demon lady swims up. She's pretty, with red hair and luminescent, mostly nude white-skin and scaly legs and feet that she uses like flippers. She snaps the guy's the neck, then proceeds to vamp (or something similar, as her blood is green) him. Eventually, he crawls out of the cave all wet and disoriented. From below, the demon lady smiles.

Next, the scoobs make quite a ruckus as they all file into this cave. They end up in the main room, which very much resembles a bar (givent he presence of the, umm, bar, behind which Lorne holds court). Scoobs sort of lounge around at high tables and low lounge chairs. Anya is there (yay) shooting eye daggers across the room at Xander. Spike and Angel are there being surprisingly buddy-buddy after their shared climb out of Hell A. Giles wears his sombrero. Basically, everyone is there. They're all bickering about the newest monster-of-the-week, at which point Buffy yells for everyone to quiet down. Apparently, a demon of some sort is creating ghouls that look human, but actually go around doing the demon's dirty work. I never got to hear exactly what the ghouls were doing. What I do know is that Xander's ideas -- good ones, like that the Scoobs should search the caves -- are continually overridden. Poor Xander becomes increasingly disgruntled.

My memory is getting spotty, here, but at some point Xander falls. The demon lady saves him. She doesn't "vamp" him, though. Instead, she uses her blood to heal his wounds. It's a little different, the key difference being that he never died. He's still human, but he is also decidedly under this lady's thrall. She seduces Xander, whose job now seems to be to report Scooby developments back to her. During Scooby time, Xander is less quippy than usual, but otherwise, he seems normal. Anya, though, becomes suspicious. She offers an Olive Branch and attempts to get back together with Xander, but she is rebuffed. Now she's VERY suspicious. She lets Willow in on her suspicions, but an annoyed Willow tells her it's no big deal. No one else believes her, either. She is very frustrated.

An army of ghouls is developing right under the Scoobies' noses. People are disappearing en masse, leaving no clues as to their whereabouts. They just seem to disappear. None of the Scoobies guess that the ghouls are organizing under the caves. The situation is reaching a crisis point. Then, one day (or night; it's kind of hard to tell in the caves), a ghoul wanders into the main room. He is wearing some uber-weird, scale-covered, Viking-style headgear that connects to his also-strange shoulder armor. The ghoul makes a lame attempt at a fight, attacking Dawn. Angel and Spike leap to the rescue, but the clumsy thing just won't go down.

"You take one side, I'll take the other," Spike says. With Angel in front and Spike in back, they each slice open the guy's neck, pretty much decapitating him. He keeps fighting. The vamps duck and exchange confused glances. Then, Spike removes the headgear -- taking the head with it. Only then does the body slump. Apparently, complete decapitation is the only way to kill this particular brand of undead. Angel and Spike go to dispose of the body while Buffy speechifies to the rest of the group. Now they know the ghouls' weakness. Hooray! No one notices that Xander isn't there. He, for his part, is spending more and more time as second-in-command of his demon lover's ghoul army, teaching them the weaknesses and fighting techniques of each specific Scooby. He's not so clearly in thrall anymore. One begins to question whether or not his insecurities about his position in the group and his feelings for the demon lady are turning him genuinely evil.

Next, there's a really weird scene in which Xander ducks behind a stalagmite to have sex with his demon lady, only to find Spike back there doing the same thing with some nameless vampire. Both men are thoroughly disgusted to be so creepily interrupted. Spike takes his vamp out to some parking garage (don't ask me why there's a parking garage just outside of a cavern entrance) and stakes him (yes; it's was a male vampire. He looked kind of like Blake from Queer as Folk). Xander lets his "vampire" (Spike assumes she's just a vamp) get away. Spike asks him why, and Xander says, "What can I say? I'm a demon magnet. Look, let's just pretend this whole thing never happened." Spike, looking relieved, shrugs and says "Fine by me." Now, Spike and Xander go back to trading insults with one another during Scooby meetings. Anya takes this as a sign that things are approaching normal with Xander again. The point here, I guess, is that now one Scooby -- Spike -- has seen the Big Bad, but A.) Doesn't realize it and B.) Is being blackmailed/embarrassed into not telling anyone.

Finally, during one Scooby meeting, Buffy announces that they know the ghouls are planning an attack on the Scoobs -- but they don't know where or when. Xander says, "I do." Everyone looks at Xander, who is sort of back in the shadows. He steps forward, horned "armor" in place. It has apparently completed the process of grafting to his skin, making him something resembling a human-sized Fyarl demon. Everyone gasps. My poor, Xander-loving little heart sank a little bit during this part of the dream, as I realized that he was now completely and truly evil beyond redemption. Xander says, "No one even noticed I was changing," and then he reaches out a (clawed) hand and snaps Anya's neck. "Attack!" he roars, and then the army of ghouls leaps into the main room to attack the Scoobs. They are led, of course, by Xander's demon lover.

That's when the dream ended. I never got to see who won or what happened to Evil!Xander.

So, yeah. My dream was about Evil!Xander betraying the Scoobs. Next, I had a dream about my hubby re-proposing to me at the Opera as a complete and fancy surprise.

Xander, always the demon magnet, lol... great dream :)
The other day I had a BuffyBoards type dream, I dreamt that I was in an underground car-park with Five By Five (the BB member) and I kept asking him silly questions (I do that in reality anyway), but in the dream he was getting more and more annoyed, I said to Five By Five, "CRG, where do chairs come from?" and he got so annoyed he punched me in the face. It was very realistic. Then I walked out the car-park and onto the street and everyone was walking around with banners next to them, like the ones we all have on the boards, it was so weird.

I had the single weirdest Buffy-related dream ever last night. I wasn't even in it...I essentially just dreamt up a really freakin' weird episode. I can still remember most of it in great detail, but some of it is a little fuzzy. Here it is...

Buffy is going for a stroll on a dock, and she sees a large, dangerous-looking wooden ship next to it. In front of the ship, there's a sign that says "Free Cruises!" with an arrow pointing to the aforementioned ship. Obviously, she doesn't even notice how suspicious the boat looks, and hops on in excitement, ready to take her free cruise. No one appears to be driving or boarding it, but again, she's unfazed. The ship leaves the dock and sails forward for a little while, but when Buffy turns around, she sees that a bunch of people are tied up to the pole that's holding up the ship's sail. Then, some more strangers jump out from the ship...and guess who it is? Pirates! For some reason, she is completely startled by this realization, and is, of course, incredibly disappointed with the fact that she didn't actually get a cruise. She starts taking out the pirates one by one, and, after a very brief fight, they are defeated. Buffy frees the tied-up passengers, then goes to the front of the boat and starts heading back.

Meanwhile, Spike and Giles are back at Giles' house, and are deeply concerned about Buffy's whereabouts. They start to brainstorm, and eventually, Spike just decides to go and look for her...but, before he can go anywhere, he's interrupted by Buffy, who appears in the clouds, Mufasa-style. She tells him that she's on her way back and gives him a big thumbs up before disappearing again.

When Spike goes back into the house, Giles is beaming at him, and tells him that he'd make a good son. He then decides to share something very private about himself...he can make delicious onions. Spike asks him how, and Giles begins to explain before it cuts to Spike, cooking onions and telling his parents (who happen to be two random people who look nothing like him) the recipe he was given. The weirdest part about the final scene was that there was cheesy music in the background and everything, but in my unconscious state, it seemed touching and adorable.

lol, thats awesome!
My dreams are usually pretty incoherant, but I do remember one about me, Buffy, Faith, and a jar of Jif Super Crunchy peanut butter. (Really!) Beyond that, my lips are sealed.

Darn it! Why don't I ever have the Giles + yummy lickable food dreams? Instead, I just get the "Xander turns evil" saga.
I've had loads of dreams about Buffy and Angel's shows over the years and most of them are with me involved in the gang and fighting. The most recent one I had was to do with the demon from "Killed by Death" which totally freaked me out and woke me up yelling in my sleep. All I remember was seeing his face right up close to mine and then I jumped and yelled then the next thing I was awake. I'm never too fond of dreams like that as I tend to sleep walk at the same time with dreams like that.

I had my first Buffy/Angel related dream! In the dream Angel was helping me by killing loads of people/vampires who were after me and also my dad as well. By throwing tea spoons and fire pokers!
but was well weird!

ahahaha yes TEA SPOONS! 😀 nice shinny ones!

I just had the weirdest Buffy-related dream. It's probably gonna make very little sense at all to you reading it, but if nothing else, it serves well to illustrate the complex "level jumps" and weirdo details typical of my dreams sometimes. Feel free to go all Freud on the ramblings of my psyche if you want, lol.

At the start, I'm in a bleak apartment watching an ep of Buffy so chaotic and sloppily written that I can't follow at all what's happening, so I research the prices of beer and whiskey in local pubs in the internet (strangely enough, pubs were auctioning their beverages off ebay in the dream) for two guys I have IRL not seen in years, and writing the prices down on the walls with ball point pens I constructed from loose parts lying around on the floor. Then, the episode catches my attention better, as there's a great twist: Andrew turns out to be the (hypnotized!?) toadie of the Big Bad of the Season (an unknown demon somewhat resembling The Master), and is given super powers as the result of this - he can change into "Igor Form" (yes, it was called that :lmao: ), when he looks like a demonic monkey, talks with a very distorted voice and is able to perform feats of jumping and wall-clinging resembling Spiderman. The Big Bad then gives Andrew the task to infiltrate a vampire outpost, some kind of mix between a temple and a fortress, which looks like right out of some PC fantasy game and is hewn into the rocks of a mountain side. Andrew dresses up in a full-body suit of armor typical of those vampire temple warriors and goes in unnoticed, but worries about an amulet he's wearing, some kind of cross, which constantly gives off a slight sound, a mix of hiss and bell-jingle...

Change to a scene where Giles, Willow and a couple of other people are stuck in some weird parallel universe where medieval humans are caught in a war with demons who have WW1 artillery. Giles and Willow are lying on a big stretcher being drawn by horses over a battleground where lots of scared and/or grieving humans are bustling about, and Willow says something like "boy, I messed up big this time, didn't I?", then a grenade shell explodes close to them, not hurting them but hurling strange bricks of earth and horse poo into the air, which land on Willows belly.

Change to another scene; in the Bronze, Tara and Anya are sitting on a table with Willow and try to cure her from her magic addiction by putting little enchanted gemstones on her forehead and eyes. Then they all (including a lot of highschool or college age students who seem to be "Scoobies in training", but not Potentials, as a number of them are male) are sitting in a dark school room late at night, probably some kind of science class, where they magically project a movie to the wall that shows chaotic scenes of Willow screwing things up by getting lost in magic abuse. Willow gets all freaked up and stumbles, babbling, among the tables, staring wide-eyed at the movie projection and trying to talk about what she sees to the other people, but no one answers her.

Meanwhile, on a hill outside the school, The Trio are coming, trying to infiltrate that Scooby-in-training group. Ridiculously enough, for infiltration they have dressed up like middle-aged ladies with big hats and long dresses that look very similar for the three of them, except for color (Warren's is red, Andrew's green and Jonathan's blue). The most ridiculous thing is that Jonathan wears an obviously fake black beard (Santa size) with his dress. They try to make their way into the school to find the science class where Willow's weird "intervention" movie is taking place, but they get caught by principal Flutie before that who asks them what they are doing on school grounds at night. In this discussion with Flutie, The Trio temporarily change into little boys 7 or 8 years old (a total rip-off effect from an ep of "Scrubs" I have seen a couple of days ago... 😀 ). Suddenly, I am no longer watching the scene as TV audience, but am now in it, being Andrew. Warren comes up with some idiotic alibi for us being there, I don't remember what it was, but it was so silly that Jonathan immediately starts shaving off his fake beard because he's sure Flutie won't fall for it for a second. But strangely enough, Flutie "allows for doubt" and offers to lead us to the science class, to see if something is indeed happening there, but threatening detention for the three of us if nothing is going on in it.

We indeed get to the science room, where now the group of Scoobs and trainees are sitting around a big table, discussing things. Flutie starts to lecture them about the school grounds being off limits at night, and we drag queen Trio guys are hiding behind him. Suddenly, it's no longer an episode happening, but an episode being produced - it's obvious we're all actors, and I'm aware that I'm playing Andrew. I talk to a Scoob-in-training (a late teenage boy looking, strangely enough, a bit like a younger Joss Whedon) and botch my line by making a not-in-the-script pun about a cat-like "Death Hiss". I try to pull myself together to get the scene done properly, but suddenly, in the middle of a long winded rant by Flutie about science vs. magic, throwing about lots of philosophical big words and historical theories, most people leave the room, and only Flutie, me and two other people (a boy and a girl, both Scoobs-in-training) remain. As a totally unexpected twist, Flutie now outs himself as the real Big Bad of the Season and tells of his plan to create an army of super-vampires, by injecting humans with a serum distilled from the blood of Adam (there sure is major Season-jumping in this dream, I guess... :lmao: ), who would have all of the powers but none of the weaknesses (fire, sunlight, stakes) of regular vampires. My script calls for acting all shocked and saying: "But they would be unstoppable, unkillable, even undetectable until you have their goddamn fangs in your neck!" However, I botch the line again, saying "their neck in your teeth" instead. I am very annoyed that I can't seem to get anything right today and start cussing. The production of the scene gets interrupted here to have a break to get our concentration back up.

Together with the remaining cast members of the scene I go get something to eat; the school in the dream now is definitely the school I used to go to IRL, and in a corner of the main hall (the Aula, where IRL, school lunch was only served once for two weeks while our actual lunch hall was getting renovated) former classmates of mine are sitting on tables, being served a strange, gloppy stew of potatoes, carrots and other veggies for lunch (even though it was night the scene before, it definitely is 1 PM now). I look around worried, obviously mixing the "levels of reality" up and thinking that if Flutie succeeds with his plan, we can never again be sure that the guy who walks next to us in the crowd isn't one of the super-vampires. Still, I sit down to have some of the stew, but before I can eat it, I wake up.
