Ok, tell me a few of you are as into Lost as i am!! The premiere was thursday night and man was it great!

Ok now here I go on a tangent so anyone who doesn't watch the show is about to be confused haha

And also! anyone who didn't see the premiere id suggest you stop reading!

I still can't believe Charlie is dead (well that happened end of last season, but still). I really loved his character, but it's good to see he's still around in his own, weird, ghostly way. I love the flash forwards now, it's really making things interesting. And I can't believe when Hurley said he was "sorry for following Locke". I mean, i assumed Locke and the others with him were right.

I think the whole Oceanic 6 thing is that 6 of them "survived", at least according to the world, but what everyone doesn't know (except for them, which is the big secret) is that the others are still on the island. Which is why Charlie was telling Hurley "they need you" and Hurley was telling Jack that the island is trying to get them to go back.

And did anyone else catch the oceanic arlines commercial during Eli Stone? If you didn't you can check it out on Youtube:

and has anyone gone to Find815.com? Its like this interactive site thats telling another person's story, a guy who lost his girlfriend who was on the flight as a stewardess and you go through each chapter, doing puzzles and finding clues to progress. Its fun (though im stuck on the second chapter with one of the puzzles, so frustrating!).

AND there's also this Dharma Initiative video they released online prior to season 4... and its very creepy/interesting. it came out 6 months ago but i wasn't aware of it until now.

Charlie was my fav. and they killed him!! :cry: He was awesome and brilliant, love that we still get to see him a little bit.

The premier was awesome, still a little confused how both Jack and Hurley are home if they went in different groups though.
 
So can anyone explain how scruffy shaved Jack has a lot of grey hair BUT full bear Jack is jet black? I really can't see a guy who is a pill popping, alcoholic is going to take the time to dye his beard (and hair) black.
Just wondern?

He he..maybe that's not gray! Maybe it's bleached blonde from all that beach time? YEAH! THAT'S IT!
I all I know is that I wished "Lost" would've stayed Lost.

I can't stand it. I hate it! Every week I just get more and more ticked off. But for some reason, I just keep watching it.... (I know, I'm a loser!) 🙂
 
I loved the premiere.

Best one yet.

The show is better than EVER. It's exciting, cool, well-written, superbly acted.

That is all.

Definitely, when it ended I was like OMG.....all I have is more questions now 'lol'
Charlie was my favourite also and I was very upset by his death... And sadly my hopes went up when he appeared on the season 4 premiere, was seen by an extra character and was able to slap Hurley! Oh and not to mention the fact that he had a hair-cut, (very cute 😉) Though his 'ghostly appearance' is making things interesting...

Any theories as to who the body in the casket is, from the other flash-forward?
 
Maybe it's because it's been forever since we've seen an episode, or just my irritation against the show, but it seemed to me that it really wasn't well acted this newest ep. I don't know, it seemed forced. Did anybody get that, or was it just me?
 
I thought maybe Matthew Fox seemed a little forced, but otherwise i thought the acting was great. And Ive heard theories about whose in the coffin being someone with a "J' name, so that could be Jack, John, James (sawyer), Jin... i dunno!
 
Charlie was/is also my favourite character 🙁 So I'm assuming there are 6 of them that get off the Island somehow? And maybe they want to go back to save some left behind? Is that why they feel guilty?
We just had the first episode air last night in Australia. What day does it air there?

Also just noticed that this next episode is written by Brian K Vaughn and Drew Goddard. 😉 Lotsa Buffy writers on this show.

SPOILER ALERT for anyone who didn't watch "The Economist" which aired last thursday in the U.S. ( i know other countries are about a week behind)


Sayid Sayid Sayid! He's so the man. He's very Jason Bourne-like in this episode. I just wish we knew who he was assassinating, dharma initiative employees, possibly? I'm still trying to figure out how Dharma is fitting into this season.

And the whole time lapse test with the "payload"... was a 30 minute delay between when it was supposed to arrive from the boat and when it did, which i think everyone is agreeing that it confirms there is some sort of difference in time passage on the island. perhaps the farther away, the larger the lapse, considering the boat is on the outskirts of the island area?

Excited about tonight's episode.

And lost producers confirmed (as if we couldn't figure it out already) that Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid are 4 of the "oceanic 6"...but i wonder if Ben counts as per the end of the last episode?
 
OK, I'm lost on Lost. I need insight. What the heck is going on?

How is Kate's kid so old? Why does the ominous music play when she says the boys name is Eric? Or did she say Aaron? That would make more sense. But even if that were the case why would Jack not want to see him?

I know there's bigger mysteries, but that's the one that's bugging me.

OK, I couldn't stop myself. I had to look around for info. Apparently it is Aaron, not Eric. Wanna really big spoiler, if it's true, which I'm not sure it is?

Spoiler alert on Kate calling the baby Aaron...Claire is accidently killed on the compound eventually and Kate takes Aaron in as her own for a short time on the island and then when she gets off the island, she takes Aaron with her and claims him as her own, telling the outside world that she gave birth to him on the island.

From what my sources have told me, you're correct about Claire.

Jack didn't want to see Aaron because (this is my educated theory) he is aware that Claire is (was) his sister, Aaron his nephew, and seeing him would bring up difficult feelings, being off the island now (and possibly painful memories of why Aaron's last name is now Austin)
 
There was all that foreshadowing about Aaron, in retrospect, huh? Claire asks Kate to pick up, comfort Aaron, she declines. Kate tells Sawyer she's not pregnant after all. But before she uttered her kid's name, I figured it would have been Sawyer's.

One thing that's kind of weird to me lately is how deferential Sawyer is to John Locke lately...spilling the beans to Locke about Kate sneaking around with that Miles guy. That seemed out of character. He's mellowed out so much.

So, who are the Oceanic 6? Jack, Hurley, Kate, Sayid...do people know about Ben? Who else has been in a flash forward?
 
At least we know who "He" is now. I think we do anyway. Remember in the series premiere Kate was telling Jack she had to get home to "Him".

And Kate beat the rap. Good show. You just know she's going to break her parole to go back to the island though.

Listening to Jack's lies on the stand (when he was character witness guy) was interesting. He said there were only 8 original survivors. Wonder who they say died on the island. Claire (you'd think), and...?
 
Here's an interesting question, I think. Which do you prefer flash-forwards, or flash-backs? I'm liking the flash-forwards myself.
 
Well, I'll definitely say that the first flash-forward was genuinely surprising, disorienting. The "shock of the new"...

"When" are we gonna be at end of the series I wonder. Does the show catch up with the flash-forwards at some point, move beyond them?
