Damn. They cant get actors that don't suck tho? Seriously, I could do xander better than that. hell, i could do buffy or dawn better than that. And why, when shes like 20, does she sound like she's 12?! The her voice and sex sounds like statutory rape.

It's a real shame that the original actors couldn't (wouldn't?) do the voices of their own characters... That would have been SO awesome, I mean big time! That would have felt really like the big return of BTVS.

Though it would have been even more painful that the "episodes" are available ONLY ON ITUNES US STORE !!! Grrrrr. (Argh.)

Since this thread is more active than the other one... just read at dreadcentral.com the motion comics will be coming out weekly. and the DVD will hit stores at the end of January.
 
I agree that static cutouts of comic book characters are unimpressive, and that the voices really stink...but I also agree that any Buffy is good Buffy! I'll be buying every ep--because I can't help myself!
 
The Motion comics are kind of pathetic IMO. I tried watching an episode and I had a hard time getting through it. For me the motion comics are nothing like the graphic novels, they're animated panels that weren't meant to be animated.
 
I'm unsure I'm going to bother with this. I haven't got on the band wagon at all really for S8. I'm not liking the fact of there voices not sounding anything like the voices to the characters that we all love.
 
I saw the trailers and they are TERRIBLE. The trailer for AtF that some random guy did is sooooo much better...
