ooh this sounds like it would be an interesting episode!! One to keep an eye on.
 
flatlining. . .i remember that movie. I'm assuming it's along the same vein (pun totally intended).

That's funny (not your question), because I just saw the movie Flatliners a couple weeks ago (we watched it in my philosophy class).

I don't know about the episode, but in the movie, several med. students get together and attempt to solve a question no one else has been able to: What happens when you die?

So they "flatline" or have no pulse (I think there is a better term, but I don't remember it) and they're dead and they experience these dream-like visions. But that's probably going a little too deep into the movie (since I don't know how the episode is going to take it).

But I hope that helps a little. 🙂
 
i saw that movie flatliners..!! i like it..!! i think i would like to flatline once see what it feels like..yeah i am weird..!!

but yeah back to the episode...sounds very interesting..!

Hmm, I think I heard somewhere that it's not actually possible to "flatline" the way they show in the movie.

But if it was possible, I don't think I'd want to try that. lol. Not with such a high risk of dying. :x

I read part of the spoiler (I swear I'm addicted to spoilers), but I couldn't read the whole thing because I didn't want to ruin the episode. :x

But it sure does sound like the movie. Can't wait... 🙂
 
I haven't read any of it, but I am planning on read it because I love spoilers.

you are right..!! i don't know thinking about it now...i dont think i would risk so much for curiosity.....!! but yeah there would be the risk not only dying but how about end up brain damaged or who knows what..i guess this would be like playing russian rollete...

Yeah, to a point I think it's like playing Russian roulette. It'll be interesting to see how this episode turns out. Can't wait. 🙂

I think what is trying to be said is..."flatlining" is like playing Russian Roulette; you don't know what will happen (ie. you live or you die).

And some people, when brought back to life, end up having brain damage because they were gone for so long (after a certain amount of time, if your heart..or something..doesn't start working again, then you run the risk of getting brain damage).
