I feel sorry for Sweden, I was rooting for them tonight. And I hope Germany win against Portugal cos I like Germany but I also can't stand Cristiano Ronaldo!

Yeah, they can only blame themselves for the loss. That was pretty awful. I need to ask did you really think that Germany played that dull today? I don´t mean they played Portugal-attractive but did you think it was dull? Putting Schweinsteiger on was a stroke of genius. Now lets hope that Croatia, Netherlands and Spain win their matches. Spain will probably lose against Italy though.

No Germany werent dull they still lacked flare but were fun to watch for a change.

Spain should be able to beat Italy the way Italy have been playing but I suppose Italy arent the world champions for nothing.
 
Ok, so Turkey´s not my favourite team and the probaly never will. But man do they deserve some respect. It´s simply amazing, the last kick of the game! Sad part is that most of the swedish people, that´s heard on the internet, really dislikes the team. And I mean really, it´s like a bad case of racism. I´m happy for the turks and I don´t mind you celebrating outside my window but don´t expect me to join in. But to go from there to write stuff like "I hope they all die a terrible terrible death!" (Yeah, I polished the language a whole lot. Don´t wanna write what they´re really saying.) is a big step. What is wrong with people?!


Todays match will be interesting. Netherlands are of course big favourites but as yesterday showed us it doesn´t mean much in reality. But it should be a fun game no matter what. Both teams are offencive but Russia might change their tactics a bit. Hiddink isn´t foolish, but at the same time it can be difficult to change your style of play. Let us hope they will continue as they did against us, but that they will loose this time.
 
I'm really sad I'm not in Belgium to watch the game, would be so much fun 🙁
Yesterday at class our Dutch teacher was trashtalking the Russian team, lol. There it felt like I was the only Russia fan in the whole world.

And finally. How can you wish success to a team consisting of players from (or soon to be) United, Barcelona and Chelsea! Come on, can there be a worse mix?


Germans on the other hand. They play, they win or lose and that´s it. In general terms of course. Exceptions exists in most places. But compared to Portugal, well they don´t even play in the same league sportmanshipwise.

Germans, on the other other hand, are really arrogant. Something they have in common with a fair few English fans.. Games between these two teams are always explosive on and off the pitch.. don't mention the war oh god, i mean just Dont mention the war!.

No really, kinda hard to criticize the Pohras by measuring them beside the Na..uh Germans.

Plus those bloody germans winning screwed the biggest bet I had at this tourney. Portugal Holland final, I won't say how much, but that single bet was most likely more than some of you make in a month. though overall I'm not actualy down any, with other bets, Im breaking even. Come on Holland.
 
Congrats SS! What do you say, Russia vs Germany in the finals? What a wondeful game. How can anybody not like this team? And Arshavin, what a player. I knew he was good, but I have no idea he was this good. Can someone of my favourite teams please buy him.

Netherlands peaked in the group.stages as I feared. But then the better team win you can´t make excuses. Suddenly our defeat doesn´t seem that bad. It´s still bad but not that bad.

If Pirlo wasn´t suspended tomorrow I would bet my money on them, but now it feels a little bit unsure. They´re also missing Gattuso but with the kind of season he had I don´t think it matters to much. It will be an intersting game.

And the streets are crazy right now. That's right, Germany doesn't only have a lot of Turks, we also have lots of Russians. Hell, if I had a license I would get in the car and join them.

Can't wait to go back to Belgium/Netherlands tomorrow, like I said, I was the only Russia supporter there, so it's gonna be crazy tomorrow when I'm back.
 
I have no complaints. Russia totally rocked. I know in recent years increasing amounts of money have been spent in that part of the footballing world. Seems like its production time. Hope Russia play so good next round.
