Bones is one of my favorite TV shows period, and it (or at least David's performance as Booth) is at least part of the reason I got into Buffy. As far as I'm concerned, it gets better every season and the characters really develop quite nicely. I miss the Angelator though--I thought it was dumb at first but I got used to it, and not without it the show doesn't seem quite same. Even though it was a little far fetched... Anyway, I love how much it focuses on the characters, perhaps even more than on the plot. Obviously the murders are a big part of it, but the reason Bones is much more entertaining than other similar shows is that it's very character driven.
I avoided How I Met Your Mother for a while but thank TV God for blowout DVD deals. After buying the first season, and laughing until I cried, I ended up getting the other seasons as they came out. Honestly though, sometimes I think the writers over-hip-up the dialogue, but that's my only complaint. I didn't like Ted Mosby first either but he grew on me. Barney and Marshall are hilarious.
Dollhouse of course is on my radar, I saw the pilot of Castle but haven't followed it. Eventually I'll get the DVD because I did really like the first episode, and the previews all look really great.
