Fabulous BB's Top 50 Most Memorable Scenes in The Buffyverse (Special Week)

Hello everyone,

As promised, here is your chance at nominating scenes either from BtVS or from Angel that you thought were missing from my original top 100 list. You have until next Saturday to post your nominations here. There is no limit to how many scenes you can come up with, just try to write your list clearly (and be precise) so that I can easily see which scenes have had the most mentions in the thread.

As a reminder, the FIVE scenes with the most mentions here will be added to the FIFTY nominated scenes from the previous 10 weeks of the voting competition. We'll then have a total of 55 scenes that will battle it out over the course of the coming weeks. 😀

P.S.: Don't nominate an episode or multiple scenes together. You need to pick single scenes. Thank you!

Okay, here's a few I think rate a mention:

1) Hot Chicks With Superpowers: Buffy and Faith have the talk. About, fundumentally what it means to be the slayer. There's funny moments, Faith opening up about the reasons why she went evil (some of them anyway...) and the two of them connecting about their calling...a pity it happened about 4 years too late, but a great scene none the less.

2) I'm A Bitch: Rm W/ A View: Cordelia's best season ep, but I'm specifically thinking about the entire scene where she stands up to the old-lady ghost, funny and character building. Also coining the phrase 'Whiny Little Cry-Buffy'. 🙂

3) Can You Pick Out The One Word There...: Angel's getting his ass handed to him by Hamilton. Hamilton gives a speech. Bad move. Angel proceeds to kick ass. This scene is pure awesome.

4) Faith vs. The Beast: This is, easily, the most brutal beat-down in the history either show, ever. Every time I see it I wince and think Faith is gonna die. In a great turn-around The Beast dies, and it's Angelus who kills him.

The kiss between Cordelia and Angel in birthday, so she can take back the visions.

Also The scene were puppet Angel and the AI team do the credits walk with puppet Angel leading the way.

Earshot: The scene where Buffy sprints up the High School steps, vaults up to the roof and somersaults onto the room.

Anne: The scene where the demons are asking everyone who they are to break them, and when they get to Buffy, she replies "I'm Buffy the vampire slayer, and you are?"

Angel 1x21: Blind Date

Gunn: My god! They told me it was true, but I didn't believe them. Damn, here it is! Evil white folks really do have a Mecca. (Holds up a hand to the security guards stepping out from behind their desk) Now, now, girls, don't get all riled up.

OW! Did you just step on my foot? (The nearest guard is still at least 8 feet away from him) Is that my foot you just stepped on? Are you assaulting me - up in this haven of justice?

Somebody get me a lawyer - because my civil rights have seriously been violated. - Oh, I get it, I get it. You all can cater to the demon, cater to the dead man, but what about the black man!

Willow's shower scene in Wrecked, short scene but it always stuck with me

Buffy's Am I in Hell in Bargaining

Spike staking his mum in Lies my Parents Told Me

The last scene of Normal Again, where Buffy shuts down at the mental hospital

So many more I could add! I'll stop here for now. Sorry if any of those scenes were already used, I have the memory of a goldfish sometimes.

I'd vote for the 'Anne' scene- Buffy's back! 🙂

Plus Blazes' Tara 'can you just be kissing me now'- at least we get another episode of joy for these two.

And 'Spike staking his Mom', -I have some issues with this episode, but this fits his character so well imo.
