Family Gatherings

I don't think they will ever love me. The only real family members that like me are Megan (my favorite cousin, she is only 29 days younger than me) and Jessica (my half sister). JESSICA IS SO ****ING LUCKY! SHE DOESNT HAVE TO GO TO THE FAMILY REUNIONS IF SHE DOESNT WANT TO!!!!!

My uncle asked me if I was gay last night. I asked him why he would think that and he said "you hold your beer like you're gay" How does someone hold a beer like a gay person? My whole family is very racist towards everything that is not "normal" i posted it in a thread about racism. It makes me sick that they are like that.

There was a fun part of the night though. My cousin and her friends were going outside to smoke pot, and of course I wasn't going to do it, but when they asked me I said "I have pnemonia and if I smoke that it will most likely be my death".

I have another family gathering on January 14th. Does anyone know how much I do not want to go? Now I have to face up to my two uncles who make my life hell. Damn... kill me now... kill me now...
 
Ever since I moved out on my own I've been really trying to avoid the whole family scene. Which is pretty easy since I live in LA now and they are all stuck in Georgia. 🙂

And about the whole your uncle being mean and stuff. Personally, I wouldn't let it get to you. I am bi myself, and some of my family members are the same way. I usually just laugh along with them, and joke around because at the end of the day, their opinions don't really matter. So cheer up. 😛

Well, it's like, who are they to call me names? My one Uncle is a racist son of a bitch who stayed married to his wife for 2 nights and on the third he beat her and she left him. My other uncle hasn't had a job in 9 years, he is an alcholic, he beats his wife, and verbally abuses my cousins. So, compared to them I'm Jesus. I have hit one of them before, my racist uncle. He called me some weird name because I was dating a black girl and I decked him and he fell into my aunts pool.

The people I'm talking about now are all on my mothers side of the family. The people on my fathers side are the coolest people ever. One time these people tried to mug my grandma, and she beat him almost to death with one of those car lock things! And my one uncle has been married 6 times! And then I have this aunt and uncle who are rich as hell. Last year it was like "what was your favorite xmas present?" "oh, my buffy game for xbox" "Oh, really? we got a water park in our back yard" They are ok though.
 
i like gatherings cause my grandma tells us all of the mean things she has said or done and there is always good food if its with my family
 
Ok, so, I woke up this morning and walked into my kitchen wearing my manly smiley face pajama pants. To my shock and ultimate horror, my grandparents were in the kitchen. They were talking about the next to family gatherings, which are on January 14th. I'm sitting there like "ah! hell no!" So, now I'm pissed. Can't they just... like... disappear? I mean, we are all gathering to celebrate my alcoholic-no job in 9 months-wife beating-child abusing uncles birthday. I don't wanna celebrate that. Man... I think I'm gunna give myself up for adoption and claim I'm an orphan.

BUT! I think I can shine some light on why they think I am gay! Two things. One, I watch Will and Grace. I don't know why everyone makes such a big deal out of that. I think the show is pretty damn funny. Two, my friends and I do things to freak our spanish teacher out. One day she wanted to move my seat and I said I was good where I was. then the spanish teacher says "do you not want to leave Nick?" (nick is a good friend of mine) and Nick says "thats right. we are lovers" then she got all quiet, blinked, at us, and then walked away. so, then she called my house and told my parents what i said, so they probably took it seriously... meh...
 
lol i watch will and grace also and i think my mom thinks im gay even though she watches it also!
 
The show is funny though. I don't watch it because two of the main characters are gay, I just watch it because the gay people say funny things. Plus, Karen is like... my idol... lol

...I've gotta go to a "family holiday gathering" tomorrow, and whenever I think about it, I start tearing up. I HATE my father's side of the family... I just HATE them with all of my heart... ::bursts into tears again:: ...And I have to go there all day tomorrow... :😛uts gun to head, laughs idiotically::
 
I hate my moms side of the family. THank god I am more of my fathers side.
 
Oh, I LOVE my mommy's side! (Well... apart for an exception). My mom's one sister is a religious freak of nature. I mean, I'm totally cool with her beliefs, and I've got nothing against her, but it gets a bit annoying when she's constantly quoting and telling you stories from the bible. It doesn't help either when she continually tells me that I'm "going to hell" [because I don't believe in her religion.] And not to mention her daughters - my cousins - are both brats. But my mom's other sister and her famiy ROCK! I love 'em to death! My younger cousin is an actress just like me, while my older one is a cheerleader for high school. Not exactly like me, (high school cheering sucks. competitive is my life!) it's still cheerleading, and they do go to UCA every year... ::shrug::

But back on topic, I definitely perfer my mom's side to my dad's... I probably perfer any side but my dad's... And I have to go there tomorrow... ::Bursts into tears::

::bursts into tears as she runs into the corner and lays on the floor rocking back and forth muttering, "they WILL pay"::

LMFAO! ...How many cats of hers have you run over? I think I've only run over one... (RIP - Oreo ...I think) And hopefully I won't run over any more again. Hm. We kill... Mr. Bennett.
 
He won't be that hard to get rid of. Well wait, he is my Alternate Reality "father". do we have to kill him?
 
Yes, we MUST! DO NOT feel sorry for that loser. He probably does bad things with Yao, Chow, and that blonde guy... ...We must take them away from him! Or should we just leave them hanging from the ceiling? Oh, oh! We have to totally trash up his room last year! We should move his desk out into the courtyard and everything... Like we planned a while ago! It would be awesome, and it would piss him off like hell! ...And then we kill him afterwards.
