Whoa, forgot about this thread. Thanks to those who answered my query concerning the "Under Your Spell" song. Indeed that is my favorite OMWF tune, and it gets my vote here. I've always liked ASH's singing voice, but he truly shines with the songs he performs in this episode. Amber Benson's singing voice is also quite lovely.

It is.. I loved her voice her, liked it better than on those songs she recorded and sent out/sold to her fans (me being one of them).. She says her voice is too "deep" for Under Your Spell (that she wasn't used to singing like that), but I thought it sounded beautiful 🙂

I'm not quite sure what she was saying, but who cares! And as for Xander, I would pay him a dozen donuts to leave the room for those four minutes.

Close second is the "bunny" section of "I've got a theory" tied with "Going through the motions"
 
"under your spell" was definitely the best song of the episode!
anber benson was amazing! she gave us a great tara/willow moment
it's too bad that willow willow didn't sing too.
"rest in peace"and"walk through the fire" were cool too.
 
i liked every song on the musical rest in peace was really good and i love walk through the fire and under your spell GO AMBER every song was just awesome umm oh i've got a theory was so good and funny with the bunny song and i'll never tell was hilarious

Walk Through the Fire..... When I first saw the eppie it was definitly my favourite! I found the whole cast emsemble singing just really awesome and somehow the visuals they used in the show just added to the "whoa" factor.

Although honorable mentions must go to "I'll Never Tell", "Rest In Peace", "Something to Sing About", and that funky little jig at the end (lol called "End Credits/ Grr Arrgh" on the cd-- I LOVED it 😀)
 
I thought 'Something to Sing About' kicked ass. I thought it had a little more meaning than the other songs. I think Amber Benson was the best singa, though. Her sung was just damn pretty.
 
It's a tie for me between Under Your Spell, Going Through the Motions & Rest In Peace.
 
I love all of them. I couldnt choose but if i'd have to, it would be between 'I've got a theory', 'Going through the motions', or 'Walk Through the Fire'. I loved OMWF!
 
i love all of the songs i like the parking ticket song because its just funny that a woman is singing about a aprking ticket.i live under your spell because i think its well sweet that Tara is singing about Willow (although would you expect anything else). i also love i've got a theory because Anya sings about bunnys, and then all all sing as a group about how they can handle anything together (which i think is sweet). but i also love walk through the fire because its quite sad but they also back each other up which makes it sound good.

I have more than one favorite but I cast my vote for the magnificent ensemble "Walk Through the Fire".

Under your spell was actually my least favourite song from OMWF. I just really didn't like it! I don't know why but Ambers voice is not one that I really liked, there were parts in other songs that i liked but overall her voice just wasn't for me.
 
I wasn't that thrilled with "Under Your Spell" either. It seems to have been a personal favorite of JOss Whedon himself, at least from his comments that I've heard. I don't know, I have to tread carefully here but I thought the song was sort of unfinished. And it may be a love piece, but when you know the story the theme of the song darkened by the fact that Tara is literally under Willow's spell when she sings it.

I was impressed with Amber Benson's voice in the other numbers, her duet with Anthony Stewart Head, and the aforementioned "Walk Through the Fire" ensemble. And then in the closing number "Where Do We Go From Here" I believe it's AB singing the high pitched harmony. Her voice has an impressive range.
