I love all of them, but I voted "Standing" as that one seemed sadly underrated and it really gets under my skin (I've rewatched OMWF a coupla days ago, and "Standing" is the one that I catch myself humming again and again... aside from the "Bunny song", of course :lmao🙂.

BTW, I've got a question regarding "Under your spell". I only know the German televised version of the show (thank goodness at least they didn't synch the songs over, perish the thought!), and at the end of UYS there is a very hard and noticable editing cut right in the middle of Tara singing. Is this in the original version also, or did the German station cut something out? (probably deemed too "saucy", as it doesn't take much imagination to understand the imagery at the end of that song :wink🙂
 
No its cut in all the versions. Joss thought it would be a great way to snatch you right out of that happy mood🙂

Well, it depends. In every version, they have her sing "You made me comp--" then they smash cut to Buffy and Xander in the Magic Box to ruin the mood. So if that's what you're talking about, then yes, they do that in every version.

But if you're saying they bleeped over some stuff, I'd guess they deemed it too "saucy." Because the end of the song does give detailed implications of...uhh...witchy love.

No, I meant the hard cut. Except for afternoon talk shows, German TV isn't heavy on "bleeping" anyway. =)
Well it varies from time to time. But at the moment my favourite is "Under Your Spell/Standing Reprise". Both songs are great on their own but they get even better together.
 
Under Your Spell and Standing

Under Your Spell- Amber Benson's voice is so beautiful in this song.

Standing- I only started watching Buffy a few months ago and Giles was a favorite character almost instantly. I love his relationship with Buffy and I knew he was going to be leaving at the end of the next episode, so I was actually in tears by the end of this song. His voice is excellent and the topic of the song still gets to me each time I listen to it/watch the scene.
 
i know its not actuly within the eposide but i like "i'll be his mrs!" from the epoisde "selfless" where she has a flash back to the day of once more with feeling 😀

if i have to chose from this selection though i would pick "going though the motions" or "ive got a theroy"
 
rest in peace. what can i say! i love james marsters! i think he's brilliant. when i heard this song i searched for his band ghost of the robot on youtube and listened to sme of their songs and i loved them. especially as james is the lead singer. i think he sounds great with or without an accent.

i like gotr they're cool. i've heard most of their songs and my favourite has to be either dangerous or german.jewish. did you know that dangerous was written by james about michelle trachtenberg!?

i'd probably have to choose between rest in peace, walk through the fire and something to sing about. i love the demo of STSA on the soundtrack - kai's voice is amazing.
 
I really like "Walk through the fire" but "I'll never tell" is more... fun and well I voted for that one because I love all the songs that buffy sings!
 
VisionGuy voted here already but since his opinion probably changed, he will post again. VisionGuy likes "Under Your Spell" the most with "Walk Thru The Fire" running a close second.
 
Voted for Standing, i think thats the Giles song during Buffy practice. Overall all voices were good, except Dawns which somehow left feeling of fake. I also agree Tara felt bit too high, otherwise i thought she was one of better singers.
 
"Walk Through The fire." I listen to it all the time. It has a reprise of "Going Through the Motions" AND every cast member is featured in the song. Love it.
 
That's a very hard decision, but I went with the Reprise. Anthony and Amber's voices are simply beautiful together.
 
I loved Under Your Spell because the Tara/Willow relationship is one of my favorites on TV and to have Tara sing to Willow about it all was so wonderful. Granted there was a not-so-happy underlying message in that song, because at that time Tara was, literally, under Willow's spell...but it is such a beautiful song!!

And Anya's sudden burst out about bunnies was classic!

My 2nd fav is Walk Through The Fire...
3rd is Something To Sing About... 🙂
 
I voted for "I've Got a Theory/Together" (love Anya's bunnies part, and Buffy's singing in this song). I also like "Standing in the Way", "Under Your Spell", and "Going Through the Motions".
 
Under Your Spell/Standing is my favourite by a mile. Not only do I love that storyline and adore Tara, but I just think Amber and ASH's voices are perfect together. Life's a Show was also one of my favourites, especially Buffy's section towards the end. And what's with the lack of love for The Parking Ticket Song? Soooo much funnier than The Mustard Song!
