I mainly making this to show how many people liked S5, but it's also me jw'ing.

I chose S4 because te storyline was just so tied, and great, and just awesome. Everything in it was a great idea. The Beast, Jasmine, Jasmine's controlling everyone, Connor killing himself and others, Angel erasing everyone's memories. It's just so great!
 
Seasons 2&3 are my favourites, I voted for s2, though. I just loved all the Darla/W&H/dark Angel stuff.
I did like s5 in general, however, I really missed Cordy. Also, I'm not really sure how I feel about so many characters dying in the latter seasons. On one hand it was probably necessary to show the darkness that was going on, but on the other hand it was just depressing to watch.
 
Season 2 is the one I've watched the most. I think the show really hits its stride by this point. The whole Darla arc, and Angel distancing himself from the group, I loved. And it was a good Lilah and Lindsey season. 😀
 
Season 5. I like the idea of the arc even if it might not be the best. But I think it's better than a lot of people seem to think of it. The bad part is of course the rushed ending but having some of the "lighter" episodes that I enjoy so much more than makes up for that. And
It has a Connor I really like.

Definitely S4 for me... the arc is incredibly intense, and Jasmine is one of my top 3 fave Big Bads (or not... which is pretty much the point why I love her 😉 ) in the entire verse. But I'm pretty sure the more people vote on the poll, the farther S4 will drop behind from the 33.3% it has atm... especially when all the big Cordy fans start polling. *yescangelisawyoupostedalready* 😛

eh, I feel the same way about Angel S4 as I do Buffy S6, there are some great episodes, some of the best actually, but overall, the arc was too dark. I believe Joss even confessed/apologized for that. Being dark itself wasn't the problem, but the darkness was off-color based on the tone of the shows in the past.

Perhaps if he didn't have to write around Charisma's pregnancy and Glenn's death (Doyle was meant to be the villain), it would have been better...

That's such a shame cause that sound's awesome I wonder what Cordelia's storyline would of been if Doyle was the big bad.
^ I think Joss works his magic in the best way that he could, and it paid off. I also feel the same way for BS6, except I loved them both in the same ways!

EDIT: Doyle's being bad would've been intense!

Dark Doyle's probably the best Buffyverse thing that never was...
season 5 is really good the character story arcs really start to heat up, the episode plots are brilliant also. A very original season indeed, plus the whole spike thing is awsome in a can really. Ilove it and i belive it represents what Angel is all about...........very very very very very good
 
Season 1 was my favorite. I loved the crossover eps and the guests especially Spike and Faith, it felt more connected with buffy. Plus we had Doyle. Im glad to see s2 is winning though, thats my 2nd best.

I feel the same way. I loved them all, but S1 had some great moments
Love all of Angel but 5 is my favourite - It's got a great story and succeeded despite the budgetry and creative limitations imposed by the network.... oh, and Spike too.
 
Season will always be my favorite it just had everything I loved.
Next would be S5 then S4 mainly cause of Willow, Jasmine, And Faith.

If I had a guess, I think Cordy may have still been bad, but I imagine Jasmine giving birth to herself was brought in because Charisma was pregnant. Maybe Doyle would have been the Big Bad, tricking Cordy, Connor into working for him, along with Skip & the Beast. It wouldn't have even had to have been literal brainwashing since Cordy trusted Doyle implicitly...
 
I ever thought season 2 was my favorite, but... Now it's clearly that I love season 4.
I like the Jasmine theme and dark things that happenned then. Her impact effect to people was creepy enough to get the hair on my arms go straight up. It's like the firing rain, the no-sun thing can happen in real life. It's APOCALYPSE! 🙁 Ok, the light side, we've seen Faith, Gwen and Willow. 😛 I've watch Orpheus for like 15 times in 6 months.(/me ignore talking about Connelia)
 
I voted S4.

it was deliciously dark, i thought the story tied in very nicely and we got to see Angelus, Faith, Willow again.

Yes connors annoying, and cordy/connor is gross but positives far outweigh the bad.
 
Does anyone else think that every character,from AI and WR&H, was best in the first couple of seasons? The only one that maybe gets better is Wes, but even then i still think i prefer old funny Wes. And i like Illyria but she wasn't in it long enough.
