Favorite Forgotten Movies

OMG! YES! I LOVE Dream a Little Dream! It;s an all time fav as well! I was obsessed with that movie! I listened to the soundtrack till it was worn out! I used to make up dances...but I didn't really want to admit that to the free world now did I...

Have to say, i love any of those forgotten movies from the eighties with Cory Haim / Cory Feldman.

I've never had the pleasure of viewing "ROCK & RULE", although I have heard about it.

Citizen LazyDolphin.....you may yet get your chance to! 😀
Using my trusty Knut-Puter, I managed to come across a website mentioning that the DVD release of "ROCK & RULE" is soon forthcoming, although an exact date has not yet been set. You can read for yourself here:

http://www.fast-rewind.com/

So, it looks like we'll BOTH be watching it soon. 😀

When you get to the site, just look up the movie's title in the movie list to your bottom left, as for some reason, the page won't let me direct-link it here.

Adult animated features are the absolute best! I loved "HEAVY METAL", although that's not exactly a Forgotten Movie.

LMAO Thanks Knut!

:::sits pensively in the darkness, bathed in the glow of the powerful Knut-Puter.....as he reviews the case files of Moderator Rayne, and other helpless victims who fell under the hypnotic spell of the Corey Feldman/Corey Haim films.

He slumps back in his chair, slowly shaking his head, a look of worry creasing his brow.

"Jesus," he thinks to himself, " They made Citizen Rayne invent dances, a poor innocent teen girl....reduced to a manic, dancing machine. If the Coreys ever return to prominence.......this could be dangerous..............."

:::The Knut-Signal flashes in the sky! DarkKnut sees it and slowly, dramatically, rises from his seat while the orchestral "BATMAN" theme plays. Getting a puzzled look on his face, he turns and angrily shuts off the CD changer thats playing the BAT music.....wondering why the hell that thing always comes on every time he gets out of that friggin' chair! :::

"Need to get that fixed........."

:::Somewhere in the city....some poor teen girl is watching a tape of "THE LOST BOYS". Another life shall come under thrall of the Coreys......if It's not stopped in time.

Another image of poor Citizen Rayne dancing wildly and uncontrollably flashes through his mind....spurring him to action.

He runs to the Bite-Mobile, opens the door causing a ton of empty White Castle containers to spill out.
Fighting his way into the seat, he fires up the engine.......and is startled to hear "Whenever There's A Night" from the "DREAM A LITTLE DREAM" soundtrack blaring from his car radio.:::

"Damn! It's already begun...and spreading rapidly! The Coreys have returned! Time to jet!"

The Bite-Mobile speeds off into the night....................

LMFAO DarkKnut! You're quite the fic writer! Thanks for making me WET MYSELF!!!

By the way, I own Lost Boys too...😛

I remembered another today....Splash

When I was a little girl, I used to pretend that I was Madison, the mermaid, when I sent swimming.

...Mr. Mango on my shoulder! I love that bit!

When I was little I used to pretend that I wasn't absolutely terrified to be in the water because of the severe psychological trauma visited upon me by the movie Jaws which I watched against my parents strict orders.

I *still* don't like to swim in any type of water i can't see in (lakes, rivers, ponds....)

That reminds me of the movie "Mermaids" with Cher, Winnona (sp?) Ryder and Christina Ricci. I loved it when I was younger, and whenever it's on TV, i always end up watching it.

Drop Dead Fred

I friggin luv that one!

You can be my imaginary friend Chas...but if you try to wipe boogers on my cheek I'll have to take the big green pills...or were they blue...

how about The Wicker man??? The warrior is the best gang film ever Swan rules! and those Urchin geezers were so baaad! Also big fan of the Brat pack. Mighty Ducks trilogy is also cool "ducks fly together"!!! Bruce Lee ENter the Dragon is also worthy of a mention, as is the ULTIMATE CLASSIC PORKY's!!!!

Ooh - Wicker Man! Good one, Carlyh. Definitely the best Christoper Lee movie that doesn't co-star Peter Cushing.

It was nice to see it get such a deluxe DVD presentation. Now, if we can just get them to release Tod Browning's Freaks on DVD, I'll die a happy man!

One of us! One of us!

The "Goonies" i watch it every time it's on TV, and feel just like i did when i was watching it ten years ago....and more.

The Ewok movies: "Caravan of Courage" and "The Battle of/for Endor".... Don't you love thoes?

"The Secret of NIMH" i saw this yesterday and had an impulse buy.
