What is everyone's favorite SMG film?

(I haven't seen The Grudge, The Air I Breathe, or The Return)

My favorites would have to be Cruel Intentions and Southland Tales!
 
Cruel Intentions, no question! I love her in that role, how she was all mean and evil! And dark hair really looks good on her!
Well, this is also my favourite movie ever, so there's not really that much competition.
And I haven't really seen that many SMG movies in general...only Cruel Intentions, Scream 2, The Grudge, I Know What You Did Last Summer ans Scooby-Doo.
 
Sure, I'll play along.

I think the Scooby-Doo movies were her best.
Some camp comedy, and she got to show off her Buffy skillz while wearing a miniskirt.
 
I loved her in Scooby Doo, i thought the whole Southland Tales movie was just weird but my alltime favourite movie is Cruel Intentions so i would have to say that is also my fave SMG movie
 
Erm I've never seen Cruel intentions all the way through so I'd have to go with The Grudge, however I'm really looking forward to VDTD so that'll probably be my favourite of her's when it comes out.

The Air I Breathe. I thought it was brilliant, one of those stories where lives collide in happen-stance ways, love it.
 
I've not been overwhelmed by any of Sarah's movies to date. I guess that the one that I dislike the least would be "The Return," despite the fact that everyone else seems to hate it. I guess that you could say that she hasn't made my favorite movie yet. I would hope for a Buffy movie, but by the time she finally realizes that that was the role of her life, she'll be too old to reprise it.

I agree with you on the return. Its was simple yet strangely dark. And not reprising the Buffy role because it would typecast her career? What career! Agreed.
It's been a while since I've seen Cruel Intentions. I think I was maybe 14 when I first saw it, and, being a teenage boy... well, you know, with the kissing and the sexiness, I probably thought it was the best thing ever. Kinda the same thing with Last Summer, although I was more of a JLH fan back then.

Anyway, the only movies I've seen of hers recently are Scooby Doo (both), The Air I Breath... and I guess that's it. I've seen all but the last 45 minutes of Southland Tales. Okay, but didn't quite get it.

I'd go with Scooby Doo, though, although I would like to check out some more of her movies.
 
DEFINITELY Cruel Intentions! There's no question. Southland Tales was waaay too weird for me and I was looking forward to it because I loved Donnie Darko so much.
 
Favorite SMG film.

That actual pretty hard to pick one.

- Cruel Intentions - because she was bad.
- Scooby Doo - because she funny, and Kicks butt like Buffy.
- Southland Tales - Because she's a Porn Star. 😉
- The Air I Breath - because she's the glue that binds the other characters stories together.
 
anybdy know tht she turned down being Juliet! in Romeo and Juliet obviously

and she also had to turn down a role in Clueless, because of 'All my Children'


i liked her in Cruel intentions the best deffo,
i hated the film The return. it was so bad.
and another film she did, what's it called? she lives ith her boyfriend or omething, anyways it's so boring.
it's tht bad i can't even remember what it is called. lol
 
Cruel Intentions is probably her best, I've seen the older adaptions (Dangerous Liaisons and Valmont) of the FRENCH (!) epistolary novel (Les Liaisons Dangereuses) and they really did a great job to turn the movie for a younger public.

I Know What You Did - quite good horror.

The Grudge I & II were also ok.

The Return was very bad.

Suburban Girl was not so special.

So my favourite is yes, Cruel Intentions.

Well, I've never seen The Air I Breathe, and my daughter would argue this very passionately (SCOOBY DOO, MAMA!)...But I have to say Cruel Intentions. I loved her role in that. She was so deliciously naughty and who can forget the line, "You can put....". Errr, I'm not sure I can post that here. LOL. 😉

lol yes i agree completely I was like what did you just say Sarah?
Cruel Intentions cos she was so mean, I didnt mind the Grudge, haven't managed to watch a whole Scoobydoo and haven't seen any others but will try and see others of hers
