Favorite Sarah Michelle Gellar Film?

Cruel Intentions is probably her best, I've seen the older adaptions (Dangerous Liaisons and Valmont) of the FRENCH (!) epistolary novel (Les Liaisons Dangereuses) and they really did a great job to turn the movie for a younger public.

I Know What You Did - quite good horror.

The Grudge I & II were also ok.

The Return was very bad.

Suburban Girl was not so special.

So my favourite is yes, Cruel Intentions.

Same here, on both points.

Cruel Intentions is one of the best contemporary adaptations of a classic story.

im sadly obsessed with that movie. Like, sadly haha. I get mocked alot. I love JLH also, so.... yea. 🙂 It takes me RIGHT back to high school, lots of memories.

I love that movie too! I even have the book :D
I really loved her in "Cruel Intentions", simply because it was so different than anything I'd ever seen her play. Plus SMG is HOT with brown hair. 🙂
I think "Simply Irresistable" gets too much of a bad rap 'cause of the cheesiness of the plot, but I loved it and I think SMG and Sean Patrick Flannery are adorable together.
I will always love "I Know What You Did Last Summer". That movie came out in the highs of the teen slasher flick phase and it brings back lots of good memories for me. 🙂

yay!!! we have the same three! haha.
SMG is gorgeous in Cruel Intentions. It baffles me why Ryan Philippe ends up with the other girl. If i'am honest i haven't seen a lot of her films which is annoying. I've noticed that especially recently her films haven't done too well, i hope that when she comes back to work she'll have a good film to work with.

Kathryn was gorgeous, yes, but she was also evil. SMG was really great in the movie. I haven't seen much film with her in it. I plan on watching Veronika Decides to Die soon.

yeah, but delightfully evil ;) ;)
Cruel Intentions of course I remember when I first bought this I watched it so many times back to back saw it on TV first so it was a little different. I loved it though everything about Sarah in this movie. She was so mean. I watched this before I bought the Buffy and angel DVD's and really sat down and watched them. I had seen Buffy on T.V. before school but didn't really experience it yet. So after watching Buffy I really appreciate Sarah more she is a wonderful actress.
But I will say I loved her in Scream 2 and I know what you did last summer those have always been my favorites but my all time is Cruel intentions. I also think the cast helps Reese and Ryan were wonderful and it was like the script was meant for the three.
The 90's I can say have some of my favorite movies and Sarah is in a lot of them lol.

Cruel Intentions. She was great in that. Also loved her in I Know What You Did Last Summer. I love slasher movies.

Definitely Cruel Intentions, she was great. I also love her in I Know What You Did Last Summer, she had a really amazing chase scene. And also Scream 2.

Agreed, it's not the best movie ever made but I can't help but love it, I remember seeing it in the theatre and adoring SMG in it 🙂

Having just re-watced "The air I breathe" I'm gonna say that's probably my favorite SMG film, she's great in it and it's very moving.

Cruel Intentions - without a doubt. Love how she plays the manipulative, dark character. She is also SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot in that role. It was the first film I saw of her outside of the Buffy role - and what a change!

I also enjoyed I Know What You Did Last Summer - I remember watching it as she is running away from the killer and thinking - just go kick his ass, you're Buffy! haaa That scene was amazing!!

🙂

Scream 2 is the only movie she's in that I really like.
Cruel Intentions is ok, I love the soundtrack for that movie but I think overall the acting perfomances in it are not good.
