I know this ship is very popular and I watched the first season of VM, but... The last episodes of the season were kind of terrible. Veronica accused everyone she knew of murder and rape, forgave Logan but then ran out of his house because of the hidden camera 🙄 (she spies on people without remorse, but doesn't let Logan explain himself), then she accused him of murdering Lilly without really interrogating him and with minimal evidence... In the first episode of s2 they were together for some reason (the guy doesn't have a lot of pride when it comes to Veronica) but we find out she's dating Duncan again?! What is with that show? And why is Veronica a special snowflake who's forgiven for everything? She assumes that she cared the most about a bff she had for a year and had the right to judge and sentence whomever she wanted! She's so vindictive and false, and she uses people. I'm finding it very hard to understand why people like Veronica and the LoVe ship. Since you've seen all of VM, maybe you can explain 😉
This is why I added the ring their necks part, I was referring to Veronica (mostly) and Logan (somewhat) lol. I never really want to do that to Buffy or Angel. I think their decision making process is better and even though he is a vampire and she is a slayer their relationship was much healthier than LoVe's lol.
So I definitely get frustrated with Veronica and how she accuses Logan of everything under the sun before letting him explain. But, I think she does this because she forgave him to quickly for the GHB thing at the party. I mean I know why she did, it's not like he raped her or had any intentions to rape anyone. He intended on taking it himself, and he was honest to her about being the one that had it there. But, I think maybe they should have talked it out more. The fact that he had it on him and how bad he had treated her that season already caused for mistrust and tension. I think this is why she was always so quick to jump to conclusions with him. It wasn't fair, and 9/10 times I was on Logan's side, but I still understood where she was coming from. But the camera was the most ridiculous out of all of it. She should have just asked. That was blatantly stupid. I think she has this idea that everyone in the world is out to screw you so she is very suspicious of everyone around her partly by her own experiences and partly because of others since she is always tailing cheating husbands, murderers, thieves, etc.
I think she went back to piece of toast boring Duncan because she wanted some calm in her life. She wanted to believe she could do the normal girl thing again and wanted her old life back. I don't think she was in love with him the second time around. I think it was her way of trying to escape Logan (the one she actually loved.) She knew since she didn't really love Duncan, she couldn't get her heart broken. But with Logan she could. I think the movie really brings that idea full circle but with another vanilla boring character of Piz.
In s3 you get to actually see LoVe as a real couple. Even though they were dysfunctional, their connection was undeniable. I just enjoyed watching these two broken souls find comfort and love in each other. But their own brokenness kept tearing them apart and causing them even more heartache. It's kind of like they may have been better off with more stable companions, but they were never going to love them the way they loved each other.
Idk if that helped at all 🙄
