Favourite Character=Hottest Character?

They are the same for me for both shows. Faith and Angel.

Holy crap, you're right! Faith is my favourite female character, and the hottest! I used to find Spike the hottest male and one of my favourite characters, but then I watched S6 and found him really creepy and annoying, and suddenly found him a hella lot less attractive - the hottest male character IMO is now Angel who is my favourite character. The only anomaly here is Dawn, who is the second-hottest female IMO but quite far down the list of my favourite characters. I do love her, but she did annoy me a lot more than most characters.

I'm pretty sure it's liking the characters that leads to finding them hot, rather than the other way around.

Agreed. Even if I didn't think Spike was so good-looking, he'd still be my favorite character.

This is strange cos usually when it comes to TV I am so unbelievably shallow and my favourites are also stupidly attractive. Anyway, make of that what you will. But I will say - I don't find ANY of those above unattractive! 😛
