I am watching a TV show at the moment and I absolutely love the theme (more than the show actually) and just thought you'd like a place to put the ones you like.

Alas(and I hate to spoil it),but The 4400 is no more. Too bad...it was very well done,and could have gone a few more seasons.

Wow, no, I've never seen Supergran. Looks a bit weird, lol. But I love the Mike and Angelo one and Fun House, yay! Reminds me of another show I loved - Finders Keepers. :D

^ I remember Super Gran!! And I LOVED Round The Twist..I was singing that theme song the other day, that's so weird!

Thanks for the link BUT it is irrelevent.

That is a closed thread in the cemetary. If you look hard enough, every new thread will have one in the cemetary.

As for the Supergran, the theme was in cartoon but the show was very much 'none cartoon'.

The Raccoons! Now there's a blast from the past.
Al, I think I might love you for, just for giving me Fun House back. Round the Twist is the strangest show I've ever seen. I still don't understand what the concept was supposed to be. I loved it though, and the theme tune was great!

You have no idea how happy finding this made me. I haven't seen it in years, and I couldn't even remember the name of the thing. The Funnybones. This is one of the greatest cartoon intros of all time. I don't even remember how the cartoons went, I just made sure I always saw the start.

I know I had more, but I've forgotten thanks to Funnybones, so I'll be back later.

I never said it was wrong to start a new thread did I? I know it´s in the cemeteray. That´s why I called it dead. Guess I was unlclear of the fact that with "dead" I meant the same as "closed"...

And why irrelevent? You wanted to know what people like. In that thread you already have some answers. But old answers aren´t interesting enough?



And for Supergran I guess I just have to blame it on my lousy memory. :blush:

Misunderstanding young man, seemed you were suggesting to look at that thread instead of bother with this one.

No biggie, time to move on.

As for the Supergran, well thats fine. The credits are a bit misleading but it was definitely 'Live Action' (I think thats what you meant instead of 'none cartoon' 😛)

As I said in the pm, my brain has now stopped working more or less. And live action don´t seem like the phrase we would use in Sweden. But since I´m not an english native I´m just happy if someone understands me at all. ;)
I quite like the theme tune to the modern Dr Who series and I also love the QI tune. It's catchy, very British and not too loud or anything, just plainly great fun to listen to.

but also The latest one (Slighty more, dramatic, I guess)
And: Skins (I dunno, it's happy and very recognisable)
And, what would paperdoll be without The mIghty Boosh
Also: The IT crowd (mainly because of the animation, but still)
And finally: QI!!! (Like Queen Mum already mentioned. I told him about the show, actually 😛)
There's probably way more I can come up with, but that will be for later. Now, I'm going sleepy 😛

Skins! I love everything Fat Segal does for them. Maxxie's dance in S2 as well. But, I have the theme tune as my alarm, so every time I hear the first "DUM" I get a tiny heart attack.

Him? The Queen is female :P But yeah, QI is such a great creation, It's so very British, I don't think any other nation could do, without making bollocks of it. Especially them Germans would make a dog's breakfast of it. :)

Fresh Prince theme is awesome!
Oh and before I forget. i absolutely love the tune of House M.D. But only the American one. Massive Attack is so amazing. I find it odd, that us Europeans get to hear a different tune, but well, who cares if you've got friends in America with a video recorder ^^

And further I also adore the intro tune to The Sopranos. It kicks ass. So does the show itself obviously 🙂

The reason why you get a different version of House's theme than we do in the States is because of music licensing reasons.

The theme music to House changes after season 3 that's why it's different.

Playdays was my heroin when I was a kid. Not that, y'know, heroin is now my heroin... But that tune....wow. Brought back SO much.

YouTube - Fireman Sam Intro

Fireman Sam. Now, I hated the program, but who can forget the theme tune? And, the most stereotypical Italians EVER, of course.

YouTube - Dr Zitbags Transylvania Pet Shop Intro

Dr Zitbags Transylvanian Pet Shop. It starts with the Tocatta and Fugue. It uses the Phantom of the Opera chord progression. It finishes on a funeral march. It has a ridiculous Transylvanian accent. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE! This was my Rocky Horror before I found Rocky Horror. 😀
