Firefly discussion/re-watch?

The ones of us doing the Dollhouse re-watch/discussion group thing are soon at the end and since I'm in need of a re-watch of Firefly I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in doing the same here.

14 episodes and a movie will make it a short one and it'll be easy for newcomers to join since it's not a huge commitment. We want to spread the love don't we? I know we got several members that plan on watching the show for the first time, like [MENTION=2230]Jules[/MENTION] and [MENTION=11103]PassionBecoming[/MENTION]. The problem will probably be that not everyone know exactly when they'll watch. But if we start people can always join once they catch up.

So what do you say, are you interested?
 
I've never actually watched Firefly, but have been wanting too. I'll try to keep up and participate. 🙂 Are you planing on watching a few episodes a week?

I have no idea when it'll be done. Just made the thread to see if people are interested, which they seem to be. Any special time/date what would suit you?

Even if the show is short one episode a week seems a bit little but with three we'd rush through it. So personally I feel that 2 a week would be good. Like monday and thursday. But it's not about me. People wanting to take part need to have their say and when we'll see what suits the most people.

I haven't been planning at all. It was just idea that popped up and I didn't see a reason to wait to post it.

Two per week seems perfect.
I would also say depending on when, but I'm up for it later in the fall or later in August at least (after I've moved...) ... right now I have to catch up on the Dollhouse re-watch *shame-face* 🙂
 
I noticed that the BluRay has some extras that aren't on the DVDs and because I am a massive dork I have just bought it 🙂

That means I have a set of the DVDs going. They're yours for only the price of shipping to your country/region. Please note this is the region 2 european boxset so you must have an appropirately compatible player.
 
I'm definitely up for a rewatch! Twice per week sounds good. Should we wait until after the Dollhouse rewatch is done? (We'll be finished next week) Are we including the movie?

To me it's a certain to include the movie so we'll have a thread about it. People can decide for themselves if they want to watch it or not.
I would give it a go for my first watch! My schedule is always a bit up in the air, plus there's that whole giving-birth thing coming in October...😛

I think a rewatch would be a very fun thing to do in the month of September, to celebrate Mal's birthday on September 20th. 🙂
 
Count me in. I was planning on getting the DVD's anyway after I'd finished watching Dollhouse.

Here's my suggestion for a watching schedule. Feel free to share how you feel about it. It needs to suit as many as possible. A little time before we start to both get a little space between this and the Dollhouse watch and so people can try and get their hands on the show in case they don't already got it.

That looks good to me. I'm going on holiday on the 25th August to the 9th September but I can just catch up on the episode's I've missed when I get back, like I've done with the Dollhouse rewatch.
 
That schedule looks good to me. I have the series but need to pick up the movie anyways so that gives me some time. Can't wait for it!
