First movie theater movie

The first movie i remember seeing at the cinema was Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It wasn't on it's original release (obviously! i'm not THAT old! 😛) but for whatever reason they had released it again and i think my mum took me as an excuse to go see it again herself, lol!

Wow i remember seeing one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies in theatures i think... it was on at the drive in... that was back in Ohio lol. Does that count as a theature? Hopefully it does cause otherwise the first movie i saw in an actual theatre was probley wow titanic maybe.. i dont even remember lol

The first movie that i saw (that i can remember) was I think Disney's Aladdin.... or the Lion King (whichever one came out first) and it wasn't in the cinema, it was in a drive-in ...

The first movie I remember going to see at the theatre was....The Sound of Music...it had been playing at the local cinema for a year on its original release when we went to see it (yes, I was young...once).

I saw this one ^ on its original release...whew...

The first movie I went to see without adult accompaniment was The Poseidon Adventure. Anyone else remember what film they went to see the first time without an adult?

The first movie I went to see without adult supervision was Scream 3. I went with a group of friends. I was 13. I have no idea how we were able to get in to see that.

I can remember going to a drive-in for the first time. Up in the northern Wisconsin woods, middle of nowhere. I can remember lying in the back of a pickup, or maybe it was a station wagon, wrapped in a blanket...it was summertime, family and friends up north camping.

It was a double feature, Foul Play, with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase. And Heaven Can Wait, with Warren Beatty and Julie Christie, James Mason...

I can remember being completely swept-up, absorbed in the movies. Wish drive-ins hadn't died out like they did. They're still around, but...not like they used to be.

Lol, my first theater movie i think was either Pokemon the movie or Toy Story 2.
Both films were great back then, but not so much now lol

Awww, loads of people's first movie was the re-release of Snow White, like mine! I remember thinking it was new at the time...then it was Bambi, Aladdin, 101 Dalmations, Pocahontas, Toy Story...

The first movie I went to see was Jurassic Park. I was 11 (didn't get out much when I was a kid 🙁).

I remember it was like among the few first film i went to see too... my bro was so scared that we had to leave.. I was under 9 at the time though.. I'm pretty sure of that.

The very first movie I remember going to see was Hook.... and we did not made it through the movie... I'm ashamed to say so since it's now my fav movie but yeah... my bro and I got bored after the first 10 minutes (which is you know the movie are indeed boring for kids)... so we left and went into another room to watch the Disney Snow White instead.. lol

I was told my aunt took me to see Snow White (the original release), but I don't remember it - she liked to torture me. I saw both Bedknob and Broomsticks and Escape to Witch Mountain during its original releases. Star Wars was the first movie I went to see without an adult. Jaws was my first PG movie and An American Werewolf in London was my first R rated film, but I seem to be rambling...

i believe mine was StarWars: Return of the Jedi. i remember sitting with the fam, and enjoying the Ewoks' language!

I think the first film i went to see was...The Truman Show. Or...Mighty Joe King. Probably whichever came out first. I may have bene before that, but that's all i can remember!
