What's the one thing that you have missed the most, that one special, or not even special, just missed, thing that you're looking forward to doing once this pandemic thing is over, or, at least abated for awhile?

For me, since I have been a total shut in throughout the thing, I look forward to going to a nice restaurant with my wife and ordering the biggest steak they have on the menu, with all the trimmings, and cheesecake for dessert.

What would make it even better would be going to see "Black Widow," and eating my weight in popcorn.

Black Widow will eventually come out one way or another regradless of the pandemic.

Except for going to movies and conventions, I can do almost everything that I please but with some modifications (such as wearing a mask or giving a massage while wearing gloves or taking food to go).

The hairdressers. I've got an appointment for next Monday and I am stupidly excited by the thought of having my hair washed by some other than myself 😁

Ha...me too. Mine was booked up until 18th August. I'm not overly worried - I hacked it myself and it's not too bad on top (short and spiky) but if the back gets any longer I'll look like Ziggy Stardust at best and Waddle & Hoddle at worst.

Unrelated question, but are you one of those people that likes having their hair touched by others or it's just the thought of getting a haircut after so long that's getting you excited ?

I like getting my hair touched by others. It's like a massage with warm water. I like massages. But I am also very excited to get my hair cut as it's getting out of hand.

I think I'm looking forward to seeing my twins (haven't seen them since late February) but it's such a faff - and it involves public transport. My youngest son suggests we just put on masks; dive on a train; go to their apartment and then take them out for a meal. I really think the complexities of "Covid Pandemic" have bypassed my youngest. 🙄

Have you managed to zoom or skype with them? :(
I've been on 5 mile lockdown until this week ...I live 30 miles from anything resembling a proper town .

I'm looking forward to EVERYTHING 😀

I need a new television screen first . Mine died during the heatwave 🙁 Heading in next week .

Mostly I'm staying in isolation though . I really fancy a few whiskeys , a bit of fancy food and a little beer chaser . That's going to have to wait 😀 . Filled breakfast rolls(local butcher , yum) and coffee on the beach will have to do for now 🙂 .

I'd tolerate that...and swap it for a TV set I never switch on. I've got relatives in Cilycwm with a farmhouse and a cottage and a friend with a campsite on the Pembroke coast. I'm wishing I'd headed for Wales before lock-down.

Can't wait to buy a 2021. My truck is almost three years old and I've grown weary of it. This damn pandemic has put a halt on the new models. That's probably the most frustrating part. If not for the beer bug I would have had a new one by now, or at least one on order.

my car is way older than that
I lease my car and managed to get a new one delivered, but it's been a real struggle to get the old one collected as everyone is isolating, working from home etc. Just got it booked in for 21st., but am not holding my breath.

Re Zoom. Once. First thing the eldest said was: "I can see right up your nose". At that point, I switched the computer off. :)

And here I am, driving around in a 19 year old Mustang! Anything much more than one car a decade, barring an irreparable vehicular disagreement is downright extravagant for me. Course, once I get something that I really like, I tend to hang onto it.

I lease because I do not ever want to own a car. Terrible contraptions, but unfortunately necessary :)
Oooh- ooh 🙂 , Government backed half price restaurants in August for Brits . That's a nice little bonus to get us spending money 🙂 .
