My partner and I have discussed visiting Scotland and Ireland...and we've talked about (not yet decided) going the next St. Patrick's parade because after it has been cancelled, the first parade to happen (assuming there aren't a lot of rules in place like social distancing, masks, etc--but if that's the case we probably couldn't visit anyway) is probably going to be the biggest of the century (and likely good deals by people trying to jump start the tourist industry again), and that could be fun to see.
Other than that...my income, while not suffering too much, has become too unpredictable because the "reopening" is too schizophrenic around here with constant rush orders to then cancellations (and then there's the limited public transportation and other complicating factors, my last delivery got rescheduled because of street violence going on with emergency vehicles around and the guy shut down his shop for the day), and I also got some new clients (and planning on getting more) but I won't really know if I'll want to work with them until I do in ordinary circumstances.
In theory we're reopened with just masks and social distancing highly encouraged (required in some places) but in actuality it's still pretty much shut down, especially if you don't have a car like me (thus, practically speaking, barred by businesses that operate only through window). It's the primary reason why I'm still a frequent visitor here as I suddenly find myself with a lot of unexpected free time and/or I'm constantly waiting for the phone to ring so I can do the next thing I need to do. I look forward to the situation stabilizing (which will also help with the plans to visit Scotland and Ireland).
What I most miss is the entertainment gigs for children birthday parties...as I'm one of the few who has stuck around, the owner is actually insinuating she might make me more than an entertainer if I keep sticking with her, though I don't know if she's just desperate to have workers once that business gets started again (assuming it ever does...) so that she's trying to keep us from abandoning her sinking ship. But I've done similar things for free and it's my favorite job, plus one that pays well (if not often), so if and when it starts up again, I'll be there, and very excited.
