I could be friends with either Faith or Buffy, but neither one would happen without some outside circumstances pushing us together. There's as much "distance" between me and Faith as there is me and Buffy. (Though don't get me wrong, I enjoy the show a lot. I also enjoyed Faith as a character with me getting to like Faith more than Buffy in season 7, though I liked Buffy more before 7.)

But if you mean who do I think is the most pleasant on my eyes then I'd go with Willow. I also prefer Buffy's fashion to Faith's (but my own fashion isn't like either one).
 
Then? Probably Fred. I know, she didn't have any hips, but I went to college with a lot of dance majors, and Amy was one of the youngest cast members, which sounds ridiculous now, but not when you are in college. Now, Jenny, I mean easy.

As far as obscure minor characters go, honorable mention to the Vampire Charlotte that Spike met and killed in front of Amy Mann during the episode "Sleeper."
 
Having recently noticed I have a bit a thing for smart redheads, Willow. Followed by Fred. I have to agree with Xander, smart is so very sexy. After that, Tara, who is very snugglesome and looks like she would be very pleasant to cuddle up with on a cold night.

Willow is face pretty but has no hips. That the character acts like a sociopathic spoiled child does not make her attractive to me.

Buffy, Faith and adult Dawn are all nicely curvy though Buffy is too thin in some seasons. I like fit, curvy women. Cordelia is hot, esp in Angel season 1 and Buffy season 1 (those green painted on pants)

Also attractive: Joyce, later Tara, Dru when not in vamp face. Her vamp face is very reptilian... It creeps me out more than nearly all other vamps.
Anya is fun but physically; mostly too many angles.

I always thought Oz (the man) was hot. He was a pistol. Seriously muscular and tight bod. I like this in a man. He made a very good were... He moved like a wild animal... And that is a compliment. I am not height obsessed unless they are noticeably shorter than me 5'6". Yes, I find Spike very attractive except for his (fake?) chin. Body is smoking.

Ethan is hot, but i always find his character reads as gay (he and Giles are sooo hot together!) so i tend to not look as hard bc my brain says "not available"... But objectively i find Robin Sachs very hot.

I don't like beefy men so neither Riley nor Angel have any physical appeal. Blucas actually makes my skin crawl, not just in Buffy. I actually like Angel the character, particularly in his own show when DB learned to act and not just drift sexily from scene to scene.

Special mention: Principal Wood. Oh my. Man is a stiffner... (To quote Doyle)
The only other large men on the show i find attractive are Giles (he is magnetic, smart and can sing) and Graham Miller, who would have made a much more interesting boyfriend for Buffy IMO (Bailey Chase also seems to be a better actor, especially back in the Buffy era)

** My favourites** Probably Buffy. There is a lot of competition. Faith and Cordelia would be runners up, mostly losing for facial expressions that make them look hard and/or mean.

*NOTE: Not including Angel only characters.

`Hey look, I was just asking who you thought was pretty. The unnecessary body comments are distasteful considering SMG's struggles with her body, especially during the 90s. That era was all about the ED culture. These are real people outside the show, and saying someone's 'too thin' for you is just weird
 
Out of all the women on the shows, Eliza is more "my type" when it comes to women. I am attracted to curvy brunettes. However, SMG is probably the first blonde I was ever attracted to. Her and Charlize Theron are about the only blondes who "do it" for me.
 
I found a Student poll from 1998. She was two as "ideal girlfriend," with one being Jennifer Love "that's a damn shame" Hewitt. This was obviously before Katie Holmes.
 
In terms of characters looks, I would say Buffy, Anya, and Jenny are the prettiest.

But in terms of the actresses themselves I think Eliza Dushku, Julie Benz, and Emma Caulfield Ford, are what I would consider gorgeous.

And SMG, Alyson Hannigan, and Amy Acker would be what I consider beautiful.

All of the female cast who've featured on AtS and BTVS are beautiful women.

To be honest, the cast is filled with attractive people, female and male.

And Snyder.

I am allowed a preference. I dislike when people look like they dont eat. I dont find it attractive. Yes, tragically TV and film is all about disordered body image and abnormal eating. I dont think it is bigoted to say i prefer when people look healthy.

I did not shame anyone, fat or thin. But i am not ashamed to say i dislike seeing unhealthiness.

Honestly, "pretty" is more of a judgement. It is a factual statement some people on the show were almost clincially too thin. Particularly when you know cameras add pounds.

Pretty is 100% a social construct. It is entirely a JUDGMENT of women by an arbitrary standard. One a lot of categories of women are excluded from because of scietal judgments about race, gender presentation, class, and ethnic appearance, not to mention things like weight or even skin markings and how their hair looks. Nose too big? Lips too thin?

But everyone does have a preference. And you asked us our judgments (and indirectly our preferences) And you did not specify that their shapes could not be considered. Next time please state your legal criteria!

If you open up the beauty pandoras box, all sorts of things will show up. It is the nature of such discussions.

Please note i mostly had opinions about the characters. I found some characters unattractive due to pesonality.

Also, if you are including Oz in pretty women, you have already set the criteria as wide open. Last i looked, both the character Oz and the actor Seth Green are male identifying.

You are totally welcome to consider anyone in any category, but if you do, please expect others to follow your lead and do whatever appeals to them.

I've heard it said (actually I read it) that anyone who isn't pretty (in the show) usually gets ignored until they turn invisible (like Marcie) so you're only left with the good looking (a handful of exceptions not withstanding).

She is gorgeous - even in middle age. Sadly, height would probably keep her from winning a beauty pageant.

I think the fact that she (the actor) seems open, nice and friendly gives her enduring appeal.

If i could buy a cast member lunch for charity it would be SMG, ASH, JL or JM for reasons more than just raw "pretty".

I had been watching toddlers and tiaras and I could just see SMG all dolled up like those tiny girls who win crowns and trophies bigger than themselves.

I agee, there are a few on the cast that I'd love to chat to. Except I know from conventions that I get so nervous, my face shakes. So it would be an awkward exchange. Especially if I was trying to chew!
