Just got done watching the first ep- it held potential for me, I'll give it a try. But I want to see that missing scene y'all are talking about! There just wasn't enough ASH in it.

I'll put them on my Photobucket tonight so I can post them here. I think I can make two different ones. It's really hilarious. But I think it's also available on YouTube - not full episodes, but clips or previews with the aired window licking scene, and a "casting" feature (I think) that has an unaired alternate version. It is not to be missed.
One of the reasons I like the scene so much, other than it's funny, is that it underscores for me a theory I have on why Anthony Head is so damned talented. My theory is that he has just a complete abandonment to the role. He's not self conscious about licking glass windows, or standing in a studded leather thong dusting bookshelves, or wearing a Speedo and climbing into a hot tub.

i dont like that he like never uses his twitter, then starts go at it mad to try and save his show, I think I'll stop following him.

I was thinking the same thing. I would like if he interacted with his fans when he doesn't have a job to save. And the show wasn't funny, IMO

Is it going to be cancelled? Just like that? Damn. I think it's ridiculous that American networks don't give shows a chance. Four episodes? Really? And they've got more filmed that will never see the light of day?

I know, right? This is just one of the reasons that I actually really just don't watch television (unless Anthony is in something, or my other television boyfriend, James Morrison from 24).
I've been told that NBC cancelled shows may be shown on Hulu at a later time. I'll be watching for Free Agents. It drives me nuts that there are shows in the can, that we may not see.

It appears that Anthony has not been involved in the last weeks of Merlin filming, since he's been in the States doing Free Agents. Why that is, is a matter of pure speculation.

I'm not sure. My theory on that keeps changing. The Merlin folks are putting out some interesting stuff and I'm not sure how reliable it is. One thing is for sure, and this is not from any spoiler, Uther has to die at some point so that Arthur becomes king. Also because Uther would never allow these Knights to be knights.

Anthony also sometimes uses Facebook, and occasionally uses Twitter, to advertise the charity work he's involved in, or to solicit support for the animal causes he supports. He's using Facebook right now to defend his partner against some false publicity she has received on the "Save Lennox" campaign.
Are you saying that Anthony shouldn't use social media for things that are important to him, unless he also uses it to engage in banal chit-chat with his 45,000 Twitter followers?
That doesn't make any sense to me and, frankly, seems like a bit of a gratuitous dig. I don't think he deserves that.

Yes.
I'm personally not interested in following him if he's using twitter to just promote his show, Most people use twitter more socially, so if he just wants to put the word out there about his charity and shows, he loses me as a follower, I have no interest in that.
Same thing pissed me off Eliza Dushku a few months ago when she started spamming everyone she follows to vote for her boyfriend on Dancing with the stars (I think, thats what it's for)

Fair enough, but my question wasn't about what you're "interested" in, but if you're criticizing him for how he uses social media.
Most of the major celebrities I follow use Twitter exactly the same way Anthony does - to make announcements to their fans about things that they are doing or things that they are interested in.
I wonder if he'll be at all consoled by the fact that he still has about 44,999 Twitter followers left. 🙂
