Funniest Buffyverse Episode

Earshots pretty damn funny too. Wes and Xanders thoughts being read by Buffy make this episode what it is. Wes going on about mental discipline then 2 seconds later fantasizing about Cordelia. Hawhaw.
 
I quite like Beer Bad, I don't know why it gets knocked so much. Band Candy, Something Blue and I really think Gone is a funny episode. When Xander is talking to Spike and invisible Buffy starts waggling Spike's ear lobe. I was laughing out loud.

Why is nobody mentioning OMWF? They got the mustard out, the guys with the brooms, both had me crying with laughter personally. I don't quite get the people here who say "I don't usually think it's very funny". The show obviously has lots of elements but to me, the comedy in it is right up there and a major reason for watching it 🙂
 
Band Candy all the way. I also like Him, Storyteller, Tabula Rasa, and Something Blue.

Also, in a sick way, I think Normal Again, besides being an amazingly wonderful masterpiece, is just hilarious. The whole idea of everything being simplified to psychoanalyzation (not exactly a word, I know...) just cracks me up. Especially the bit about Dawn.

Aww, I forgot to mention "Life of the Party." That is definitely among the funniest episodes of Angel. There's drunk Wes and Fred, Gunn peeing everywhere (including Angel's chair), Spike being uncharacteristically optimistic and friendly, and Angel sexing it up. I love the episodes where everything gets crazy.

I always thought Angel had way more funnier eps than Buffy, which is strange considering how much darker it is as a show.

I generally found Buffy a lot funnier than Angel, but the latter show did have a few very funny episodes. Spin the Bottle and Smile Time come to mind.
 
In general I think Buffy was more fun. But since Angel was a darker show once it was funny it stood out more so to speak. But I'm not sure which show would get most episodes on my top ten list of funniest episodes from both shows.
 
Spike and Anya are easily the two funniest individuals, but overall, Angel is the funnier show. More funny episodes and scenes.
And the main star of each show, Angel can be downright hilarious at times. But Buffy? She's not funny. At all.

I didn't think Willow, Tara or Oz was funny either. I like Buffys personality alot, but i just didn't find her a funny person(but i dont see that as a bad thing)
The one that never fails to get me laughing is "Band Candy"- Snyder cracks me up bad! Also I love "The Replacement". 🙂 Poor Xander. LOL
 
There are so many that are funny. I love Tabula Rasa, but I think I had more LOL moments in Something Blue. It's a close call though!
 
Everyone's forgotten "Triangle!" It has some of the best Anya quotes, such as, "Oh! I know what this is. This is peer pressure! Any second now you're going to make me smoke tobacco and have drugs!" and "I have finesse! I have finesse coming out of my bottom!" Plus, a rampaging troll.

Ha, I love Triangle too. Willow and Anya are so funny. Anya cracks me up every time I see her drive. And I love when Willow told Anya she has a faith she can make everyone pissed. 😀

I love Triangle, I think it's hilarious. Some real laugh-out-loud humour and then more blink and you'll miss it moments, like Spike trying to cop a feel from Buffy when the Bronze collapses.

Jane Espenson always writes such funny eps.

On Buffy, Band Candy all the way. I love, love, love that episode.

On Angel, definitely Harm's Way because Harmony is one of my favorite characters & I'm laughing constantly.
 
What is the episode that Giles turns into that big demon? I laughed my ass off when he was trying to hunt Proffessor down the street.

Band Candy, Beer Bad with caveBuffy was hilarious, Tabula Rasa, Hush in some scenes made me laugh(especially the one with Spike and Xander, and the scene where Buffy does the inappropriate gesture looool!). Also "Something Blue" cause Buffy was all "I love Spike despite the fact that noone not even me likes him" and she really scared Riley with those wedding dresses!Although "Once more with Feeling" is not supposed to be funny cause finally Buffy's friends get to know about what's really happened to Buffy, the "Bunnies" song was hilarious!!!Anya rocks with that song! And "Mustard".

From Angel, Spin the Bottle, The Girl in Question, the dance of Angel in "She" ,"Life of the Party" where everything goes crazy!Oh and Harm's Way!!!

Yeah I think Band Candy is my fave. Snyder's "Whoa, Summers, you drive like a spaz!" always gets me. I like Living Conditions as well - Scary ass Buffy is pretty funny and it has my fave ever Oz quote :"On the plus side, you killed the bench which was lookin' shifty." 🙂
 
I also forgot "Bewitched,bothered and bewildered" and "Him".

In season 2 with all the sadness going on, suddenly Buffy is hitting on Xander, DRUSILLA threatens Angelus about Xander, all girls go crazy for him! And in "Him" Willow and Anya made me laugh really hard!

For me it's pretty even between Band Candy and Spin the bottle. These two episodes are without a doubt the ones I laughed the most at. Giles, Joyce and Snyder in Band Candy hahahaha :lmao::lmao: And having Ethan(one of my favorite guest) in there too make it the best for me on BtVS. Spin the bottle had me laugh out loud at scenes like Wesley karate moves(and Fred :lmao🙂, Gunn fightning Wes and finally ANGEL! Wow, was Angel funny in this episode... The part where he touch his throat and keep saying the same thing to check his accent :lmao::lmao::lmao: The cars/demons gag and most importantly, the bathroom scene LOL! ''I'm invisible!'' :lmao:
 
Hmm, difficult question. The ones that spring to mind are Tabula Rasa, Spin the Bottle, Band Candy and Something Blue. My favourite though would probably be The Girl in Question, the way Angel and Spike bicker with each other throughout it is just hilarious. That's just off the top of my head though 😉
