Funniest Buffyverse Episode

I think Buffy definitely had very funny dialogue, but as a whole, there weren't many funny episodes. However, there definitely were a couple.

Tabula Rasa! The friggin funniest episode ever!

OMG and how could I forget Him! I even showed that episode to my little sister! I absolutely love the part when Xander and Spike find Willow doing the spell and they ask where everyone is and she tells them what Buffy was doing and Xander's like, "Alright, we'll start there." Then we see Buffy behind Wood with the rocket launcher and Spike tackles her. Friggin epicness right there.
 
Hmm i've got a few but i think (currently) the one that stands out in my man is the neanderthal buffy one.

xander: and what did we learn about beer?
Buffy: FOAMY!
xander: and let's never forget that.

lol whenever we're having some friends over for some drinks now me and gf will inevitebly quote that line at some point in the night. (genearlly after some drunk idiot says/does something well.. drunken n idiotic lol)
 
Spin the Bottle is HILARIOUS, as is the Zeppo. I also thought that most every Btvs S1 episode was pretty funny, like Nightmares, Welcome to the Hellmouth, etc. 😀 I mean, it was kinda silly, but the characters just seemed to have a lot more humor in them, specifically Xander. IMO, Xander is one of the funniest Btvs characters, but he seemed to kinda lose his fun silly thing as he got older. And, IMO, Buffy just isn't funny. I find her jokes and puns to be be 100% lame. 🙂 She's only funny two times to me: When her jokes are so incredibly bad that they're funny 😀 , and in Potential. She's just so cute and nonchalant with her little shrug. 🙂

Xander did get a bit less funny as the show went on. Was "he had to split" one of Buffy's so-bad-it's-hilarious puns, by any chance? I always thought it was.
Crush is a hilarious episode. 😀 😀 The part with Spike and Buffy are in a car, Spike goes do you like the ramones??...Buffy is like whattt, is this a date?? Then he chains her to a wall..Idk I think it is really funny. Or the part where he goes into Buffy's room, Riley catches him stealing her underwear. I am not sure if that is in Crush...but regardless that was a funny part. I really love Something Blue, Smile Time, and Tabula Rasa. The one episode of Angel where Wesley pretends to be Angel, which one is that? I forget. That was by far one of my fav's. 😀

I don't find Buffy that funny either unless she's doing something that makes her look foolish. Like in Him, Living Conditions, Beer Bad (especially when she steals that girls sandwich.) I don't find her punning that funny.

Him, BB&B and, Intervention are my favorites. I never got a whole lot out of Storyteller, I just never found Andrew that funny.
