Game of Thrones

Theory is that Bran is the three-eyed raven from the past and he's essentially guiding himself.... but yeah, it seems a waste of his character to reduce him to the role of 'Previously, on Game of Thrones: The Wonder Years'.....
 
I didn't realise Ian McShane is going to be in this season. 😱

So far this season has been stronger than season 5. Great Dany moment.
Now if she can just pick up her unsullied, dragons & any other armies/people she may have lying around Essos and get her behind back across the narrow sea, already!
 
When if ever is something significant going to happen with Arya and her storyline?

Loved Osha, so sad. Ramsey is the evil bastard Joffrey wished he could be.

Daenerys arc is a total borefest to me. Poor. She's an ages taker.

Jesus. Just when I thought it was starting to go all happy, they pull out the emotional big guns. I'm a wreck. I just can't even.... 🙁

I think the episode ruined the show for me. I predicted what would happen but hoped it would not.. it did and now it all seems cheapened.

The books talked about how Hodor was normal until one day he had a seizure and that's all he said after that - always knew it had to be important but god....🙁...we need an hysterical sobbing emoji!

It will never be all happy - that's the thing about a world at war - you don't get all happy for more than a small amount of time.
 
I guess I was riding on the crest of the Jon/Sansa wave. It's the only happy thing that's occurred, so I've clung to it. I know happiness is few and far between, but Hodor was completely innocent, completely pure. 🙁

We've been trying to put aside all that, and discuss how Bran affects/will affect the world with his time travel, especially as we now know he can affect the past, therefore affecting the future.
 
The Hodor scene was so manipulative! But it worked, it almost got through to my cold heart 😛
 
The latest rumours speculate that Sansa could be pregnant with Ramsay Bolton's child, based on recent things she's said/done.....

Although the idea is awful (not an innocent child, but the way it was concieved and the monster of a father), it could be the one way to unite those loyal to the Starks and those loyal to the Boltons? Especially if Ramsay Bolton meets his maker sooner rather than later....

Holy crap - last Sunday I was looking at her thinking that she looked pregnant - wondering if Sophie Turner was actually. Hah - that really makes sense!

There's not many left 🙁 Lady & Grey Wind are long gone. This season we lost both Shaggydog and Summer already. We have no idea where Nymeria is. At least we still have Ghost though....
 
Really enjoying this season so far. There's so much going on and it all seems to be gearing up for big changes. The Hodor scene was heart breaking but I'm not a big fan of what it now means. Obviously everything that has happened was always destined to happen, which takes away some of the fun.

We did get the funniest scene ever in this episode though and a new winner of the dumbest bunch in the Seven Kingdoms award. The speech given by Uncle Greyjoy at the Iron Islands election will go down in history:
"I wasn't born to be King so I killed your one. As your leader I will float over the sea on the ships that don't exist yet and bang Daenerys. Can I count on your support!"

Then his first acts as King are to nearly die, lose his niece and nephew and lose the fleet he did have.
