Saw Kelly Bishop in a very old Law & Order tonight. No surprise she was playing a rich bitch😛 A young Sam Rockwell appeared as her son.

Just watched Gilmore Girls only. One of the best episodes yet of season 7. Always enjoy the dynamic when the three Gilmore girls are together. Get some good character growth too.

My favourite gag of the episode is
Lorelai: "Alrighty looks like our choices are Hitched or the Lake House"?
Rory: "I could use a laugh."
Lorelai: "Alright the Lake House it is."😀
 
Just got to the end of season 7. Think they handled the finale just about perfectly. It was truly touching too. Like that the final shot was them sitting in Luke's diner where the show begin. Am intrigued, but also nervious what is to come in the revival which I might start tomorrow😛

Guess we could wait till its been out a year before posting spoilers? Sounds fair🙂

Just watched Winter. I enjoyed it. Had a bit of a slow start, but guess that was because it was feature length and the first time revisiting the characters. But think they bridged the gap well. Loved the gag about cellphones in Stars Hollow and the one about them all
forgetting Rory's boyfriend.

Though the bit with Lorelai and
what she did at Richard's wake
was painful to watch🙁 Paris and Kirk were on great form though🙂 Liked the references to Eastern Promises, Inside Lllewyn Davis, and of course Rory's "Wrapped in Plastic."😛 The ending was sweet and funny too once Lorelai relaised what she'd got herself into with Emily..😀
 
The second episode of AYITL was more hit and miss than the first. The highlights were Paris and Rory revisiting Chilton, s
ome of the Emily-Loreali theapy scenes (though they dragged at times),
Kirk's short film was great too
, and
Emily trying to force Luke into francanising was interesting.
But too much of the humour felt forced, and the
Rory-Logan stuff was lame soap opera (they've ran out of good ideas with them), don't think there was any need for them to hook up again, and the stuff in London has been pretty poor.
 
I like how you had the last one as a low life & I have to agree with you on what you said there 😀
 
Think I will probably get the new ones for Christmas too. Think I will collect the rest before that.

I loved that shirt, so much that I remember seeing it on Piper on Charmed as well. Maybe they all shared a closet? 😛 . My vote goes to Lorelai though!

As long as A Year In The Life is on Netflix I won't be buying it, if they take it off Netflix... hm, well, I honestly can't imagine wanting to see it again that badly. It was fine, but nothing I crave to own I guess.

You mean you would only buy it if it was taken off Netflix? I can see that. For me I like to have the psyhical thing, and I like to watch the special features too. I'm a bit of a completest too, at least with stuff I like.

I panic if I have too much stuff, so I only buy things I really feel like I need to have. Netflix is good like that, it keeps my home less cluttered 😀

Just re-watched Jess's debut. Love that episode, he really was a bad boy stealing Miss Patty's gnome😛 Love the ending with Rory (Jess has hidden depths, Ash's Girl from Mars playing brings back memories🙂). And there was a lot of Paris that episode, so it was a cool one to re-watch🙂
