Just caught this on Twitter.
Charisma stars in a new psychological horror thriller with a yet to be announced release date.

Synopsis:
The accidental death of her boyfriend leaves a young woman stranded in a remote portion of the Appalachian Mountains thrusting her into a horrifying journey of survival; fighting both the unforgiving elements of the mountains and the malicious demons from her past. From director Jeremy Benson (Live Animals) comes Girl in Woods, a harrowing psychological thriller that plunges into the nightmares of a secretly disturbed woman and her fight for survival.

Sounds like this could be a good role for her considering her performance as Jordy (Jasmine Possessed Cordy), I'm sold on it!
 
Holy cow... she says "I really hope it gets released" that makes me go yikes! Then I watched the trailer and went yikes again.
 
Oh man.

It's like high school Cordy grew up and got herself a daughter.

I do like Jeremy London though.

Actually looks pretty interesting. She gets to do some acting which is good. I'd watch this.
 
Always up for giving a horror a watch and I do think that CC has what it takes to be an engaging lead in this kind of role, so look forward to hopefully seeing it.
 
I do have to nic pic at the title though because shouldn't it be Girl in THE Woods?😉 Its not the best trailer but then modern trailers are mostly awful, and I think my main interest is in CC in it.

What I want to know is how does a film which hasn't been released yet have reviews like the ones on the trailer? Was it shown at a Festival or something?
 
I didn't really get a good sense of the movie from the trailer but I like horror so if it's released I'll defintiely watch it! From the snippets Charisma seems to be doing a good job. I especially like her maniacal laughter towards the end and the bathtub scenes.
 
Seems worth while watching, hope it eventually gets released 🙂

I just noticed the error in the video title, I believe it's just a typo. Charisma hashtagged it as Girl in the Woods in her tweet.
There are only two reviews on this particular trailer and only one indicates that the writer has seen the film, it's possible it could have been shown at a film festival but it also might be a case of incorrect tense, they could be an ESL.

Same goes for me, I didn't understand the basic plot without reading the video description. From my experience though quite a few films that are well done and which I enjoy weren't appealing to me as trailers because the wrong tone and/or idea was depicted in the trailers. So in a way I see this as a smart tactic because there isn't much to judge here except the acting which appears to be pretty strong. I believe this is going to be a great role to showcase Charisma's talent so I really hope it gets released.

I hope (and really hope those hopes won't be dashed) that it's partly because the plot seems like it could be a bit original. Uncommon in the genre 😛
So even though I didn't get a good feel of the plot, it succeeded in getting me interested and that's something 🙂 I hope it gets released too. It seems pretty much finished so it'd be a shame if it just ended up sitting on a shelf somewhere after all that work had gone into it.

I didnt think the plot seemed original at all! The trailer looked like a livechild between Dushku's Soul Survivors and The Descent.

I do agree with this. The thing is pretty much everything you can do with a horror story has been done, and so many of them do have similar set up plots. Its then what you do with those stories, or how you make the film scary. I didn't think much to the trailer, but I do think that CC playing disturbed is quite con vinvincing and I would like to see it for her.

The very fact I find it comparable (at least the trailer) to the Descent is not a nay! But few movies can really match the vibe of that flick.

I haven't seen that movie so I wouldn't know.
 
Descent is a great film yes, has very much an Aliens level of clostrabphobia to it. If this is being compared to that, then it can't be a bad thing.
 
I didnt think Aliens was scary at all.. I would compare The Descent more to Alien than Aliens.. if anything the awful sequel was more Aliens.
